HoYoverse has officially announced the Genshin Impact Version “Luna III” Special Program, confirming that the next major livestream will air on November 21, 2025 at 07:00 AM (UTC minus 5) on the game’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. The show will cover new content coming in Version 6.2, also titled Luna III. A Nocturne of the Far North, which is expected to release globally on December 3, 2025.
According to community schedules and preview articles, the Luna III stream will follow the usual format. Around forty to fifty minutes of announcements, followed by a rebroadcast on YouTube roughly an hour after the initial Twitch premiere.
Regional guides already list the livestream time for multiple servers. For North America it will go live at 07:00 AM (UTC minus 5). Europe can tune in at 01:00 PM (UTC plus 1), while Asia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau get the show at 08:00 PM (UTC plus 8).
The special program is expected to spotlight Durin, a five star Pyro sword user with dragon themes who has already been revealed through official drip marketing as one of the central characters of the Luna III update. Alongside Durin, recent leaks and previews point to Jahoda, a four star Anemo bow user from Nasha Town, who will also debut in the same patch. Early banner coverage suggests Durin will headline a new limited character banner, sharing the spotlight with reruns such as Venti, Varesa and Xilonen across the two phases of Version 6.2.
For many players, one of the biggest reasons to watch the Luna III special program live will be the redemption codes. As with previous updates, the stream is expected to distribute three limited time codes that grant Primogems, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Hero’s Wit and Mora. Guides and fan sites are already preparing pages that will aggregate all Genshin 6.2 livestream codes as soon as they drop, which is useful for Travelers who cannot catch the show in real time but still want to redeem every reward before expiration.
Beyond characters and codes, Version 6.2 “Luna III” is positioned as another major chapter in the ongoing Nod Krai storyline. The patch subtitle, A Nocturne of the Far North, suggests a focus on colder regions and northern factions connected to earlier Luna updates. Previews mention new events, fresh quests and gameplay systems that expand the Luna era mechanics introduced in 6.0 and 6.1, building on the Luna I and Luna II arcs that opened Nod Krai and its new elemental interactions.
Players watching the broadcast can also expect a detailed breakdown of new events planned for 6.2. Early summaries reference the return of fan favorite modes such as Windtrace, alongside a new winter themed event called Soulblazer’s Snowbound Journey, which should add combat challenges and exploration content in a snowy setting. HoYoverse typically uses these segments to showcase event gameplay, reward structures and free characters or weapons tied to seasonal activities.
With the Genshin Impact Luna III Special Program only days away, Travelers are marking their calendars for November 21. Whether the goal is to plan pulls for Durin and Jahoda, learn about upcoming Nod Krai chapters or simply grab every available Primogem code, this livestream will set the tone for the last big update of 2025 and the next phase of the Luna saga.
