Genshin Impact has officially released its latest soundtrack collection titled “Where Roads Are Pledged to Cross”, the second OST album dedicated to the region of Nod-Krai. Published on March 11, 2026, the album expands the musical identity of the region with an impressive lineup of 73 original tracks composed by the HOYO-MiX team.
Music has always played a crucial role in shaping the atmosphere of Genshin Impact’s world, and the Nod-Krai region continues that tradition with a soundtrack designed to capture the unique identity of the northern lands. The album is divided into three thematic discs, each reflecting a different emotional and environmental tone connected to the region’s story and landscapes.
The first disc, titled “Nordic Spring,” introduces listeners to a vibrant and refreshing soundscape inspired by the natural beauty and cultural atmosphere of Nod-Krai. This section of the album focuses on melodies that evoke exploration, discovery, and the quiet wonder that defines the early stages of a journey through a new land.
The second disc, “Tidig Gryning,” continues the musical narrative with compositions that carry a sense of awakening and transition. The title itself evokes the imagery of an early dawn, symbolizing the moment when darkness begins to fade and the world prepares for a new beginning. These tracks are designed to accompany story moments filled with reflection and anticipation.
The final disc, “Requiem for the Living,” shifts the tone toward a more dramatic and emotionally powerful atmosphere. This portion of the album highlights the deeper narrative layers of Nod-Krai, capturing themes of struggle, sacrifice, and resilience. The music here emphasizes orchestral intensity and haunting melodies, creating a memorable sonic experience for players exploring the region’s more complex storylines.
