Strategy Notes
- Use Lunar or Elemental Reactions to destroy the shield.
- -The Nightmare Whisperer will eventually gain a shield during combat whilst summoning minions to provide it. The shield can be destroyed using Elemental Reactions, but Lunar Reactions are more effective.
- -Bear in mind that you should focus on the boss itself, rather than the minions, to damage the shields.
- -Bring Lunar gear or gear with high Elemental application.
- -Lunar gear, in particular, is effective at destroying the shield the boss gains. However, gear with high Elemental application, such as Hyperflourish and Electrolad, remains viable.
Hexadecatonic Mandragora
Strategy Notes
- Pyro characters are the best at efficiently draining the Dendro bar located on the right-hand side of your HP bar. Alternatively, Lunar-Charged and Electro-Charged characters can also drain the bar efficiently due to their high elemental pulses. It is important to have a unit that can group up to effectively deal with mandrake spores.
- -Deplete Dendro’s bar
- The Hexadecatonic Mandrake requires you to deplete its Dendro Bar to lower its RES. Using Pyro is the quickest way to deplete the Dendro Bar, as it can cause burns.
- -Quickly destroy the mandrake spores whilst they are flowering.
- Once you have depleted the Dendro Bar, the Hexadecatonic Mandrake will generate Spores. Defeat them quickly before the Hexadecatonic Mandrake absorbs them, and you will regain the Dendro Bar.
- -Finish him off while he's down.
- Once you have defeated all the spores, the Hexadecatonic Mandrake will be vulnerable to attacks. Deal as much damage as possible whilst it is in this state. Bear in mind that this state lasts only a short time before it becomes active again.
Crab Tsar
Strategy Notes
- Use the Blossom reactions on Stoneborne Seeds.
- -During combat, the Crab Tsar will throw Stone Seeds onto the ground. Deal Blossom damage to the Stone Seeds to make them attack the Crab Tsar.
- Defeat the Crab Tsar with Stone Seeds.
- -When the Crab Tsar rises into the air, he is about to charge Almighty Bombardment. This attack can instantly knock out your active character. To avoid this, use the Stone Seeds to damage its shield. Once the shield is destroyed, the Almighty Bombardment will be interrupted.
- -Use Dendro and Hydro units to turn the seeds into attacks against the Tsar. This should happen naturally, as the Tsar constantly scatters seeds throughout the battle. Just remember to focus on the seeds when they are present
