My characters don't appear in my showcase / profile

Make sure your characters are set to showcase in Genshin Impact itself (in-game Profile > Edit > Character Showcase). Our site reads from the showcase API, so if they're not set in-game, they won't appear here. We've verified this with other third-party tools and the same result applies. Also note that Genshin only allows displaying a maximum of 12 characters in the showcase.

Will there be an iOS / iPad app?

Publishing on the Apple App Store requires a $99/year developer fee and can only be done from a Mac computer. For now, you can add our site to your home screen (Safari > Share > Add to Home Screen) for an app-like experience. The functionality is 100% identical to a native app.

The Android app is just a wrapper / Why isn't it a native app?

Yes, the Android app is a wrapper, and that's by design! GamesAndChill isn't a regular website: it's a full web application built with Next.js 16, a framework that enables app-level interactivity, real-time features, and offline support that traditional websites simply can't do.

Building a separate native app would mean maintaining two completely different codebases with no real benefit. Every feature you see (Genshindle, showcase sync, tier lists, live tickers, giveaways) would need to be rebuilt from scratch in a different language.

The result is that the "wrapper" gives you the exact same experience as a native app: instant updates, no app store delays, and every new feature lands on all platforms simultaneously. We'd rather invest our time building new features for everyone than maintaining duplicate code.

The app shows 'Application error' or crashes on my home screen

If you've added the site to your home screen and see an error, it's usually a cache mismatch after we push an update. Try these steps:

  1. Close and reopen the app completely
  2. Clear your browser cache for our site
  3. If it persists, remove the app from your home screen and re-add it

This is a common behavior with web apps (PWAs) and not a bug specific to our site.

I can't log in or my session keeps expiring

If you're having login issues, try these steps:

  1. Clear your site cookies (not all browser cookies, just for our domain)
  2. Try in incognito/private mode to rule out extension conflicts
  3. Try a different browser

This usually resolves the issue. If it persists, contact us through the Bug Tracker with details about your browser and device.

I guessed the right character but it didn't count as correct

Some characters share all the same attributes (element, weapon, region, gender, etc.). In these cases, the game has a specific character "in mind" and may not accept others with identical parameters. We're aware of this and plan to add a differentiating parameter in a future update to solve it.

A character or weapon has missing stats / data

We update character and weapon data regularly, especially after new releases or patches. Sometimes new characters may have incomplete data initially. If you notice missing stats or information, please report it through our Bug Tracker and we'll fix it as soon as possible. Community reports help us a lot!

How do I change my UID or manage my linked accounts?

Tap the purple pencil icon on your profile page to add, edit, or remove linked game accounts. You can manage this yourself anytime, no need to contact us. You can link multiple UIDs from different servers.

I won a giveaway but haven't received my prize / How do giveaways work?

All giveaway instructions, rules, and claim steps are available in the Giveaways section of the site. Please check there first for the specific steps you need to follow. Winners are announced and shown in the Winners ticker at the top of the site.
