A major Genshin Impact leak tied to version 6.5 has revealed a large scale update to the game’s English dub audio, significantly expanding voice coverage across cutscenes, Archon Quests, and multiple character storylines. According to recent datamined information, this update appears to focus on improving narrative immersion and delivering a more complete voiced experience across previously partial or silent content.
One of the biggest highlights is the confirmation that several major cutscenes now feature updated English dub audio, including content from 5.3 Archon Quest, 5.7 Archon Quest, Mavuika Story Quest, Citlali Tribal Quest, Mizuki Story Quest, Varesa Tribal Quest, and Skirk Story Quest. In addition, iconic moments such as the Liyue Archon Quest Osial fight and the Liyue Interlude Beisht battle are also receiving enhanced voice support, suggesting a broad effort to unify the game’s storytelling presentation.
Another critical update involves the Traveler, with leaks confirming that both Lumine and Aether are now voiced in certain Natlan Archon Quest lines. This marks a significant shift, as the Traveler has historically had limited voiced dialogue. The addition of more fully voiced lines indicates a move toward making the protagonist more actively engaged in conversations and story delivery.
The leak also highlights that the Pyro Traveler now includes combat voicelines, adding a new layer of personality and feedback during battles. This change not only enhances immersion but also aligns the Traveler more closely with other fully voiced playable characters in combat scenarios.
Further details reveal that the Traveler now has most Natlan related lines voiced, with one notable exception being the dialogue titled “About the Curse of the Night”, which currently appears to lack audio. While this may be an incomplete implementation, it still reflects substantial progress in expanding voice coverage for upcoming regional content.
