Version 6.3 of Genshin Impact continues to evolve team building and combat depth with the introduction of two new five star weapons that support the upcoming Lunar Crystallization system. At the same time, the beta reveals a new mechanic where the Traveler gains permanent attribute bonuses for every element they have resonated with, creating long term progression incentives and flexible build options.

The first featured weapon is Nocturne’s Curtain Call, a catalyst with a crit damage secondary stat that increases maximum HP and restores energy when the character triggers Lunar reactions or deals Lunar reaction damage. The passive also grants a buff that further increases HP and amplifies crit damage from reaction damage. This effect persists even while off field. This weapon favors characters who scale with HP and rely on constant reactive damage during rotations.

The second item is Lightbearing Moonshard, a sword that provides crit damage while increasing defense. After the equipped character uses an Elemental Skill, their Lunar Crystallize damage is boosted for five seconds. This weapon encourages short field presence, rapid skill usage, and defensive investment. The design supports characters who balance survivability with sustained reactive output.

The new weapon designs highlight a broader intent to support reaction focused builds, off field scaling, and flexible stat priorities. Both items appear tailored for Columbina and Zibai, two new characters expected to headline the version 6.3 banner lineup. Their kits also lean toward Lunar mechanics, which places these weapons at the center of upcoming meta trends.

Alongside new weapons, the beta introduces a powerful progression feature. The Traveler gains a permanent stat bonus every time they resonate with a new element. This includes seven total bonuses across the current elemental roster.

  • Anemo: Crit Rate is increased by 10 percent

  • Geo: Defense is increased by 20 percent

  • Electro: Energy Recharge is increased by 20 percent

  • Dendro: Elemental Mastery is increased by 60

  • Hydro: HP is increased by 20 percent

  • Pyro: Attack is increased by 20 percent

  • Cryo: Crit Damage is increased by 20 percent

These bonuses stack across elements and significantly raise the Traveler’s baseline strength. This encourages players to unlock new regions, switch elements, and experiment with more diverse team roles. The update positions the Traveler as a more competitive option for endgame content, while also rewarding exploration and account progression.

Version 6.3 continues to push the game toward multi stat scaling, conditional damage systems, and deep mechanical synergy. If values remain unchanged, these updates may shift the meta toward Lunar teams, reaction amplification, and rotation driven gameplay. Community anticipation remains high as testing continues.
