Xiangling's Legendary Build

Talent Priority:

• Her normal attack does not go up.

• Her Elemental Skill doesn’t need to be leveled much.

• Her Elemental Burst is the most important, and I recommend using a Crown on it if you want to maximize her damage.

The ideal setup would be 1/6/10 in terms of Talents.

Constellation Recommendation:

• Her C3 is a complement to her C4.

• Her C4 is by far the best, as it increases the duration of her Elemental Burst.

• Her C6 is very good, as it increases the Pyro DMG Bonus for the whole team.

Main Stats:

Clock: ATK% ------ Chalice: Pyro Bonus ------ Crown: Crit. DMG or Crit. Rate.

Sub Stats:

It is recommended to get Crit. Rate, Crit. DMG, Energy Recharge and Elemental Mastery.

Recommended Stats:

Try to get 70% Crit. Rate, 120% Crit. DMG (with weapons giving Crit DMG up to 180%), 1,600 ATK, 200% Energy Recharge or more, and 200 Elemental Mastery.

Important: you can run an Elemental Mastery or Energy Recharge sands as long as you meet the minimum required thresholds in the other stats.

Important: If you’re using the Staff of the Scarlet Sands, the Goblet should be Elemental Mastery.

Important: In a team with Kinich or Mualani, Xiangling must go with at least 230% Energy Recharge.

Xiangling remains a top-tier 4-star sub-DPS character in Genshin Impact, maintaining her relevance despite power creep. This Xiangling build focuses on her powerful Pyronado, prioritizing her Elemental Burst and C4 constellation to maximize off-field Pyro damage and application.

Best Weapons

• Engulfing Lightning: This premium 5-star polearm is an incredible choice for a Xiangling build because it converts Energy Recharge into Attack. It helps meet high energy requirements while significantly boosting her damage output in energy-hungry team comps.
• Staff of the Scarlet Sands: Use this weapon to capitalize on high Elemental Mastery stats. It provides a massive Crit Rate boost and converts EM into Attack, making it a top-tier option for Vaporize or Melt reactions.
• The Catch: This is the best F2P weapon for Xiangling, obtainable through fishing. It increases Elemental Burst damage and Crit Rate, perfectly aligning with her role as a burst-reliant sub-DPS who needs consistent Energy Recharge.
• Dragon's Bane: A strong choice for Vaporize teams where Xiangling triggers the reactions. The passive increases damage against enemies affected by Hydro or Pyro, making it highly effective when paired with characters like Xingqiu or Tartaglia.
• Favonius Lance: Select this weapon when your team needs a battery to lower overall energy requirements. It provides high Energy Recharge and generates neutral particles, ensuring that Xiangling and her teammates can use their bursts on cooldown.

Best Artifacts

• Emblem of Severed Fate: This is the best of all artifact sets for Xiangling in 95% of scenarios. It provides essential Energy Recharge and increases Elemental Burst damage based on her total ER, directly buffing her Pyronado.
• Gilded Dreams: This set is a viable alternative specifically when using the Staff of the Scarlet Sands. It provides a significant amount of Elemental Mastery, which is beneficial for reaction-based damage in specialized high-EM builds.
• Crimson Witch of Flames: While this was a standard choice early in the game, it is now generally outperformed by Emblem. It remains a usable option for increasing Pyro reaction damage if you already have high-quality pieces.

Teams and Stat Priorities

• Stat Priorities: Focus on reaching 195% to 230% Energy Recharge depending on the team, followed by 70% Crit Rate and 120% to 150% Crit Damage. Aim for 200 to 300 Elemental Mastery for reaction damage.
• Raiden National: This classic team features Raiden Shogun, Xingqiu, and Bennett. It provides incredible energy generation and constant Vaporize reactions, allowing Xiangling to deal massive damage while maintaining high burst uptime through Raiden's battery capabilities.
• Tartaglia International: A high-performance team using Tartaglia, Kazuha, and Bennett. Xiangling provides the Pyro application for Tartaglia to Vaporize his hits, while she also Vaporizes her own Pyronado hits within Bennett's buffing circle.
• Mono Pyro: This composition utilizes Mavuika, Bennett, and Xilonen to focus purely on Pyro damage. By removing the need for reactions, the team concentrates on massive raw damage and shredding enemy Pyro resistance.
• Chevreuse Overload: Utilizing Chevreuse for resistance shred, this team focuses on the Overload reaction. It provides a unique playstyle that benefits from Xiangling's consistent Pyro application alongside Electro sub-DPS characters.
