Genshin Impact Version 7.0 Phase II has officially been announced, revealing a major new rotation of Character Event Wishes and the Epitome Invocation weapon banner. The second half of the update will begin on September 1, 2026 at 18:00 server time and run until September 22, 2026 at 14:59, giving Travelers just over three weeks to obtain the featured characters and weapons.

• The first banner, “The Lone Light Knocks at Night,” will feature the event-exclusive five-star Flins, who uses the Electro element. Flins is presented under the title “Shadowy Lights, Stranger Wights,” and his return to the featured banner gives players another opportunity to acquire the character during the second half of Version 7.0. As an event-exclusive five-star, Flins will not be available through the standard Wanderlust Invocation Wish.

Aino appears as “Clinky-Clank Gadgets-A-Gogo,” while Iansan is featured as “Tempered in Molten Stone” and Lan Yan as “Spring Woven From Jade.” Their inclusion could make the banner especially interesting for players looking to improve existing four-star constellations while chasing Flins or Ineffa.

One of the most important details concerns the Character Event Wish guarantee system. The pity count for Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2 is shared, meaning progress made on one of the two Phase II character banners will carry over to the other. The accumulated guarantee also remains separate from the pity systems used by other Wish types. The unusual pairing of two five-star Polearms immediately stands out. Players interested in maximizing their builds for the Phase II characters will need to carefully consider which promotional weapon best fits their account and team compositions. Since both Bloodsoaked Ruins and Fractured Halo are event-exclusive during the banner, they will not enter the standard Wanderlust Invocation pool once the promotion ends.

The weapon banner will also feature several returning four-star options, including The Flute, Favonius Greatsword, Favonius Lance, Eye of Perception and The Stringless. This gives Travelers additional opportunities to obtain commonly used equipment while pursuing the two promotional five-star weapons.

Players can also use the Epitomized Path system to chart a course toward either Bloodsoaked Ruins or Fractured Halo.
