Genshin Impact Version 7.0 “Everwinter Without Mercy” is now live, and players have two new events available to celebrate the arrival of Snezhnaya. The first is the Genshin Impact Version 7.0 Discord Quest, which lets Travelers earn a bundle containing 20 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, 5 Mystic Enhancement Ore and 3 Hero’s Wit. At the same time, the new Snezhnaya Travel Guide web event is inviting players to explore the frozen nation through a limited-time online activity featuring Primogems and lucky draw rewards.
The Version 7.0 Discord Quest runs from August 12 through August 19, 2026 at 23:59 UTC+8. To participate, Travelers must first accept the Genshin Impact v7.0 Quest invitation on Discord. The quest can be accepted through the Discord desktop app or browser client, making it easy to find through the Quest Bar or Discord's dedicated Quests page. Players looking to claim the rewards should complete the required activity as soon as possible because the available redemption codes are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Completing the Discord event is relatively simple. After accepting the Genshin Impact Quest, players must launch Genshin Impact on PC and play for at least 15 minutes while keeping the Discord desktop client running. Discord automatically tracks playtime through its Game Activity detection system. When Discord successfully identifies the game, the user's status should display “Playing Genshin Impact”, confirming that the activity is being registered toward the quest.
Players should also verify that Game Activity detection is enabled inside Discord. The relevant option can be found under User Settings > Game Activity, where Travelers can confirm that Genshin Impact appears among their detected games. When automatic detection fails, Discord allows users to manually select Add Game. Once the required 15 minutes of gameplay have been completed, the quest can be claimed and the reward code retrieved through the Claim Reward button.
The Discord reward package contains 20 Primogems, 20,000 Mora, 5 Mystic Enhancement Ore and 3 Hero’s Wit, providing a useful boost for players starting their Version 7.0 progression. After completing the quest, Travelers can obtain their Genshin Impact bundle redemption code through Discord's Gift Inventory. The code can then be redeemed through the official Genshin Impact redemption system and the rewards will be delivered through in-game mail. Players must reach Adventure Rank 2 before they can receive the rewards through the mailbox.
There is an additional reason to complete the Discord Quest quickly. Although the reward claim period remains open until September 22, 2026 at 23:59 UTC+8, the event states that only 900,000 redemption codes are available. Codes are therefore claimed on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning waiting until the end of the event could increase the risk of missing the reward package. The redemption codes themselves also expire on September 22, 2026, making early completion the safest option.
