Genshin Impact has officially revealed the Version “Luna V” Event Wishes Notice – Phase I, introducing a wide lineup of character and weapon banners running from after the Luna V update until March 17, 2026 at 17:59. The first phase features two major 5 star character banners, a premium weapon banner, and the return of the Chronicled Wish system.
Genshin Impact Luna V Phase I Event Wishes Bring Varka, Flins, and Powerful Weapon Banners
Version Luna V launches multiple boosted drop rate banners including Varka, Flins, Gest of the Mighty Wolf, and the Ode to the Dawn Breeze Chronicled Wish
Good morning! How about a drink to wake you up?
The first highlighted banner, “The Northerly Wind’s Song of Triumph,” grants a massive drop rate boost to Varka, titled “Knight of Boreas” (Anemo). As an event exclusive 5 star character, Varka will not be added to the standard Wish pool “Wanderlust Invocation.”
Alongside him, the boosted 4 star characters include Bennett (Pyro), Xiangling (Pyro), and Sucrose (Anemo). The Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish 2 banners share the same pity count, meaning progress carries over between them.
Parallel to Varka’s banner is “The Lone Light Knocks at Night,” featuring Flins, known as “Shadowy Lights, Stranger Wights” (Electro). Like Varka, Flins is event exclusive and receives a significant drop rate boost. The same trio of 4 star characters appears here as well, giving Travelers flexibility in choosing which 5 star they aim for while maintaining shared guarantee progress.
Both banners include a Test Run trial, allowing players to try fixed team compositions and earn rewards upon completion.
The weapon banner “Epitome Invocation” also arrives in Phase I. The 5 star weapons Gest of the Mighty Wolf (Claymore) and Bloodsoaked Ruins (Polearm) receive boosted rates. Players can use the Epitomized Path system to chart a course toward one of the featured promotional weapons. Additional boosted 4 star weapons include Sacrificer’s Staff, Favonius Sword, Favonius Greatsword, Sacrificial Fragments, and Sacrificial Bow.
Finally, the “Ode to the Dawn Breeze” Chronicled Wish becomes available. This banner allows Travelers to freely select and chart a course toward a chosen 5 star item among the featured pool. Limited time event exclusive 5 star characters include Eula, Albedo, and Klee.
The Chronicled Wish 5 star character lineup also includes Mona, Diluc, and Jean. Featured 5 star weapons include Song of Broken Pines, Elegy for the End, Wolf’s Gravestone, Skyward series weapons, Lost Prayer to the Sacred Winds, and Aquila Favonia.
Unlike standard banners, the Chronicled Wish pity counter is independent, meaning its guarantee does not carry over to Character Event Wishes or Weapon Wishes.
With multiple banner types running simultaneously, Luna V Phase I presents one of the most content packed summoning periods in recent memory. Between Varka’s long awaited debut, Flins’ Electro spotlight, powerful new weapons, and the flexible Chronicled Wish pool, Travelers have numerous strategic options to strengthen their teams before March 17.
