HoYoverse has officially announced a brand-new Genshin Impact community event titled “Nicole’s Story Workshop”, giving Travelers around the world the opportunity to participate in a creative storytelling campaign inspired by the upcoming Version “Luna VII: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana.” The event is already attracting major attention across social media thanks to its free Primogem rewards and the growing popularity of the new Pyro character Nicole.
According to the official announcement, the event runs from May 19, 2026 until May 27, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8). During this period, players can participate by following the instructions posted on Genshin Impact’s official social media accounts across platforms including X (Twitter), Facebook and Instagram. Each platform includes slightly different participation requirements, making it important for Travelers to carefully review the specific rules before submitting entries.
The event’s theme centers around Mage Nicole and her mysterious pen pal known as “Mr. Nine.” HoYoverse describes the pair as currently discussing a collection of “brand-new” story ideas, encouraging the community to join the creative process and share their own concepts online using the official hashtag #NicoleStoryWorkshop.
One of the biggest highlights of the event is the availability of free in-game rewards for all successful participants. Players who complete the participation requirements will receive a special redemption package containing Primogems x30, Tattered Warrant x3 and Mora x20,000. The rewards can be claimed through an official redemption code distributed during the event period.
HoYoverse also confirmed an additional reward tier called “Mage’s Extra Rewards.” A total of 100 randomly selected participants will receive an extra prize package featuring Primogems x160. Winners will be selected from all participating social media platforms combined rather than from separate regional groups, increasing the competitive nature of the event.
The company emphasized several important participation guidelines. On X, users must include the hashtag #NicoleStoryWorkshop in quoted reposts to qualify for automatic notifications. On Facebook and Instagram, the hashtag must appear directly in comments for submissions to count correctly. HoYoverse also reminded players to keep their accounts public to ensure entries remain visible during the verification process.
Another important detail is that participants may submit multiple entries throughout the event duration. However, HoYoverse clarified that each Traveler can only win one prize package even if multiple submissions are selected. The company also warned that violating community rules, posting unrelated promotional content or sharing inappropriate material may result in disqualification and potential bans from future HoYoverse community campaigns.
