HoYoverse has officially launched the new limited-time Genshin Impact web event “Memories of the Moon”, giving Travelers a special opportunity to earn Primogems, upgrade materials, and exclusive cosmetic rewards ahead of Version “Luna IV.” The event is now available and will remain active from December 31, 2025 to January 13, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8). Players are reminded that rewards cannot be claimed after the event ends, making timely participation essential.

The Memories of the Moon web event is open to all Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 10 or above. Eligible players can log in using their HoYoverse Account and select the corresponding in-game character to ensure rewards are delivered correctly. This requirement helps guarantee that all earned items are sent to the proper account via in-game mail.

At the core of the event is the Moon Maiden memory system. By completing missions on the event page and participating in related in-game activities, players can collect Memory Shards. These shards are used to unlock different memories, each offering a variety of rewards. By fully engaging with the event, Travelers can earn up to Primogems ×120, along with Character Level-Up Materials and exclusive wallpapers inspired by the lunar theme. For exact mission objectives and reward breakdowns, players should consult the event page directly.

In addition to memory collection, the event also includes a pre-registration mission for Version “Luna IV.” Travelers who complete the pre-registration will receive an additional Primogems ×40. These rewards will be distributed through in-game mail after the version update goes live. This feature encourages early engagement with upcoming content while giving players a small but valuable boost to their Primogem savings.

HoYoverse notes that there may be occasional delays in data synchronization. If quest progress does not update immediately, players are advised to refresh the page or wait patiently. These delays do not affect eligibility, and progress is typically recorded once the system updates correctly.

Several important notes accompany the event. After January 13, 2026, participation will no longer be possible, and any unclaimed rewards will be forfeited. Additionally, all in-game rewards sent via mail will expire after 30 days, so Travelers should remember to claim them promptly. Failure to do so will result in permanent loss of the items.

It is also clarified that Memories of the Moon is purely an entertainment-focused web event. The content presented does not reflect actual story developments, canonical lore, or future gameplay mechanics in Genshin Impact. Instead, it serves as a thematic experience designed to build atmosphere and anticipation for the Luna IV update.

Overall, the Memories of the Moon web event offers a rewarding and accessible way for players to prepare for the next version while enjoying beautifully themed content. With a combination of Primogems, materials, wallpapers, and pre-registration bonuses, the event provides strong incentives for both casual and dedicated players to participate before time runs out.
