Genshin Impact players are being invited back to one of Mondstadt’s most iconic locations through the newly announced “Angel’s Share - No Alcohol! Not a Tavern!” event. The special web campaign introduces a lighthearted reward experience centered around treasure chests, surprises and the beloved tavern atmosphere that long-time fans instantly recognize.
The official description presents the event with a playful message from an “angel” guiding players toward treasure instead of drinks. Rather than searching across Teyvat, Travelers are greeted with “nine surprises” waiting directly in front of them, encouraging players to immediately open the available rewards and participate in the limited-time activity.
The event has already attracted attention across the community due to its nostalgic connection to Angel’s Share, the famous Mondstadt tavern operated by the Dawn Winery. Since the launch of Genshin Impact, Angel’s Share has remained one of the game’s most recognizable social locations thanks to its role in quests, character interactions and memorable events involving Venti, Diluc and Mondstadt’s citizens.
Fans also quickly connected the campaign to previous bartender-themed content such as the popular “Of Drink A-Dreaming” event from Version 2.5. That event allowed players to work inside Angel’s Share by preparing custom drinks for visiting characters while completing timed tavern challenges. The minigame became one of the most beloved casual events in the game’s history because of its relaxing atmosphere and character interactions.
This new event appears to continue the tavern-inspired theme while focusing more heavily on rewards and collectible surprises rather than bartending mechanics. The playful title “No Alcohol! Not a Tavern!” also references the game’s long-running comedic approach toward Traveler and Paimon interacting with tavern culture while avoiding direct alcohol consumption themes.
