Genshin Impact January 2026 Calendar Wallpapers Released With Primogem Event

HoYoverse shares new January 2026 calendar wallpapers for PC, mobile, and Apple Watch, alongside a limited time event offering Primogems.

HoYoverse has officially released the Genshin Impact January 2026 Calendar Wallpapers, giving Travelers a fresh way to welcome the new year while celebrating the world of Teyvat. These new wallpapers are available across multiple formats, including PC, mobile, and Apple Watch, allowing fans to personalize their devices with official artwork inspired by the game. Alongside the release, HoYoverse has also launched a limited time community event that gives participants a chance to win Primogems.

The January 2026 calendar wallpapers are designed to combine functionality and visual appeal. Each wallpaper includes a clean calendar layout for the month of January, making it easy for players to keep track of important dates while enjoying Genshin Impact themed art. By offering versions for PC, smartphones, and Apple Watch, HoYoverse ensures that Travelers can enjoy the wallpapers regardless of their preferred device. This multi platform approach reflects the growing emphasis on lifestyle content tied to the Genshin Impact brand.

In addition to the wallpapers themselves, HoYoverse is encouraging community participation through a special January Calendar Event. The event runs from December 31, 2025 to January 7, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8), giving players a limited window to take part. The results announcement is scheduled for January 14, 2026, aligning closely with other major January milestones for the game.

Participation methods vary depending on the platform. On X, formerly known as Twitter, Travelers can join by sharing the event post using the hashtag #GenshinImpactCalendar and adding their New Year wishes. Winners on this platform will receive a private message from the official Genshin Impact X account requesting their UID. Players are reminded that their accounts must be public and able to receive direct messages. Failure to submit the correct UID within the specified time will result in forfeiture of the reward.

For other platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Naver Cafe, Telegram, VK, and Reddit, the process is slightly different. Participants must like the event post, leave their Genshin Impact UID in the comments, and share their New Year wishes. As with X, accounts must be set to public so that entries can be verified. These platform specific rules ensure fair participation while allowing Travelers across different regions to join the celebration.

The event rewards are simple but appealing. One hundred Travelers will be randomly selected to receive Primogems ×160. While the number of winners is limited, Primogems remain one of the most valuable resources in Genshin Impact, making this event especially attractive to players preparing for upcoming banners and updates. Community events like this also offer a low effort way to earn rewards while engaging with official content.

Beyond the rewards, the January 2026 calendar wallpapers reflect HoYoverse’s ongoing effort to maintain a strong connection with its player base. Seasonal wallpapers have become a recurring tradition, offering fans something new to look forward to each month. These releases also help highlight important in game periods, particularly as January 2026 coincides with major announcements and updates related to the Luna IV era.

For many players, sharing New Year wishes through the event is more than just a chance at Primogems. It represents a moment of reflection and optimism, both in and out of the game. HoYoverse’s messaging emphasizes positivity and community, reinforcing the idea that Genshin Impact is not just a game, but a shared experience enjoyed by millions worldwide.

Travelers interested in participating are encouraged to act quickly, download their preferred January 2026 calendar wallpapers, and follow the participation steps carefully on their chosen platform. With limited time and limited winners, early participation improves visibility and reduces the risk of missing out.

As the new year begins, the release of the Genshin Impact January Calendar Wallpapers and the accompanying Primogem event offer a simple yet meaningful way for players to start 2026 while staying connected to the world of Teyvat.
