Genshin Impact's Amongst the Thousand Stars: Wonderlands Creator Contest is now open alongside Version 7.1. The official event page gives Miliastra Sandbox creators until November 2 at 11:59 a.m. (UTC+8) to submit an original Wonderland. Awards include Primogems and, for several categories, Creation Tickets No. 1. This is a building competition rather than a login reward: players must publish an eligible stage and select the contest option during submission.
The contest was previewed on September 15, but its live event page now supplies the detailed timetable, prize tiers and participation rules. Anyone planning to enter should read the eligibility conditions before building. They are more restrictive than simply having access to the Miliastra Sandbox.
How to submit a Wonderland
Creators build their entry in the Miliastra Sandbox, choose “Amongst the Thousand Stars: Wonderlands Creator Contest” under Sign-up on the publishing screen, and then publish it. Selecting that option is part of the submission process; publishing an ordinary Wonderland without signing it up does not meet the stated procedure. An eligible work must be original and published for the first time on or after September 23, 2026 at 09:00 (UTC+8). It must remain publicly playable during the contest and cannot be removed or suspended.
Each Genshin Impact account may submit up to two Wonderlands. The rules say an entry cannot be replaced once submitted and entered into judging, so creators should test its basic progression before confirming it. Later changes matter too: the judging team evaluates the version of a Wonderland present when judging begins, and blocking bugs or other game-breaking problems can heavily affect its assessment. A stage that works at submission but breaks after an update could therefore lose ground.
Participation also requires the legal age of majority in the entrant's country or region, a Genshin Impact account on the Asia, America, Europe or TW/HK/MO server, and completed registration and identity verification at the Miliastra Wonderland Creator Center. The Creator Earnings feature must be activated. Those are eligibility rules, not optional steps reserved only for winners who choose to withdraw a prize. Players unable to meet them should not assume that an otherwise impressive stage can qualify.
Deadlines and judging
The creation and submission period runs from the Version 7.1 update until November 2 at 11:59 (UTC+8). Judging is listed from November 2 at 12:00 until December 4 at 23:59 (UTC+8). The event page gives December 5 through December 12 as its results-announcement period, while the detailed rules describe the announcement as beginning after judging and lasting seven calendar days. These are the published windows, but HoYoverse says judging and announcement timing may change with the number of entries; it would issue a notice ahead of any adjustment.
There is no prescribed genre or gameplay style. The evaluation criteria instead emphasize a recognizable theme, creative mechanics, a complete and stable gameplay loop, visual design, clear guidance, sensible balance where applicable, and the experience of actually playing the stage. Technical complexity is not a standalone requirement. That gives creators room to build a small, polished Wonderland rather than treating a large or elaborate project as the only viable entry.
