Genshin Impact has officially revealed a new Character Event Wish for Version Luna III, and it places the spotlight firmly on “Strength in Serenity” Varesa (Electro). Titled “A Laid-Back Warrior”, the event wish Cornucopia of Contention will go live on December 23, giving Travelers a valuable opportunity to add this powerful Electro character to their roster.

During the event period, Varesa will receive a huge boosted drop rate, making this banner the best chance yet to obtain her. As an event-exclusive 5-star Electro character, Varesa will not be available through the standard wish Wanderlust Invocation, which further increases the importance of this limited-time banner for collectors and meta-focused players alike.

In addition to Varesa, the banner also features an appealing lineup of 4-star characters, all of whom will benefit from increased drop rates. These include “Tempered in Molten Stone” Iansan (Electro), “Executor of Justice” Chevreuse (Pyro), and “Leonine Vanguard” Gaming (Pyro). This combination offers strong elemental synergy and makes the banner especially attractive for players looking to strengthen their team compositions across multiple roles.

As with other Character Event Wishes, the wish guarantee count for Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2 is shared and accumulated across both banners. This means any pity progress made here will carry over, allowing Travelers to plan their pulls more efficiently. The guarantee count remains independent from other wish types such as weapon or standard banners.

To help players make informed decisions, the Test Run event will be available throughout the banner duration. Travelers can enter trial stages using preset teams that include Varesa, Iansan, Chevreuse, and Gaming, allowing them to experience each character’s playstyle, abilities, and combat flow firsthand. Completing these trials will also grant additional rewards, making participation worthwhile even for those still undecided.

Overall, the Cornucopia of Contention banner represents one of the most compelling pull opportunities in Version Luna III so far. With Varesa’s boosted drop rate, a strong supporting cast of 4-star characters, and shared pity mechanics, this event wish is shaping up to be a major highlight for the Genshin Impact community as the update continues to unfold.
