With Version 6.2 approaching, the full details of Durin’s character banner and weapon banner are now circulating in the Genshin Impact community. What was already a highly anticipated debut for the Pyro “dragon of Simulanka” has turned into a massive four star and weapon bait, thanks to the inclusion of Bennett, Faruzan and a strong pair of five star bows. For many Travelers, this will be one of the hardest banners to skip in the entire Nodkrai and Luna era cycle.

The headline is simple. Bennett is back, and this time he arrives directly beside Durin and Venti. For new accounts that started in Nodkrai, Bennett has not featured on any local banner so far, which makes his appearance here incredibly valuable. As always, Bennett remains a top tier healer, universal ATK buffer and flexible Pyro support. Even at C1, he already provides strong healing and a powerful ATK boost inside his Burst field. At C6, he gains Pyro infusion and extra Pyro damage that allows him to transform several characters into on field Pyro carries while still acting as a support.

Durin’s best teams only amplify that value. Theorycrafting points to Durin, Mona, Furina and Bennett as one of the strongest Durin DPS lineups, with Mona vaporizing charged attacks under Bennett’s buffed field while Durin supplies multi element buffs and huge Pyro damage. Bennett also remains best in slot for Mavuika teams and numerous older compositions, so his presence alone makes Durin’s banner look like a premium investment for both new and veteran players.

The second featured four star is Jahoda, an Anemo healer who has sparked heavy debate. Community summaries emphasize one key point. Jahoda is truly viable only at C6. At maximum constellations she significantly improves Flins teams, gives future value to Columbina, and provides extra support for Nefer by acting as a pseudo Hydro applier while wearing Deepwood style sets for Dendro shred. Below C6, however, her impact is much weaker compared with existing options like Nahida or Lauma. For players who do not plan to fully invest in her constellations, rolling for Jahoda specifically is not recommended, although obtaining her passively while pulling for Durin remains a nice bonus.

The third four star, Faruzan, appears to be placed on Durin’s banner primarily to support Venti and future Anemo carries. The latest Aquelarre buffs gave Venti a new life as an on field DPS, particularly in teams like Venti, Faruzan, Durin and Bennett. In this setup Faruzan provides powerful Anemo damage buffs and resistance shred, Durin offers Pyro support and team wide bonuses, and Bennett completes the rotation with healing and ATK buffs. Even so, analysts warn that Faruzan’s 20 second rotation often clashes with the 15 to 18 second rotations of other members, which still limits her comfort in endgame content.

The weapon banner tied to Durin is also generating excitement and concern. Durin’s signature weapon is described as an exceptional best in slot that not only boosts his own performance but also provides a large team wide ATK buff, surpassing classic options like Noblesse Oblige in many scenarios. It also incidentally supports strong units such as Mualani and Neuvillette in specific team archetypes, although Neuvillette still prefers his traditional permafrost ceiling in pure damage terms.

On the opposite side of the banner stands a new five star bow seemingly designed for Venti. This bow has 674 base ATK, 44 Crit DMG and a passive that can stack up to 60 percent bonus damage through general combat actions. Importantly, it can be activated both on field and off field, which makes it a global bow option for many current and future characters. While veteran players still advise caution when pulling on weapon banners, they agree that losing pity to this bow is far from a disaster. it should age well as a flexible Crit weapon for a wide range of archers.

The four star weapons on the banner are more mixed. Favonius style options like the high ATK one handed sword are promising for Bennett, giving him 620 base ATK and turning it into one of his best options if players lack Aquila Favonia. The String like bow remains a very strong choice for off field DPS units such as Fischl when refined, and still beats the upcoming free event bow in many niche situations. Other promotional weapons, including a new polearm, look more cosmetic than meta defining for now, without a clearly dominant best in slot user.

Ultimately, the combination of Durin’s broken support constellations, Bennett’s long awaited return, Jahoda’s C6 potential, Faruzan’s niche Anemo synergy and a powerful double bow weapon banner makes this patch a perfect storm of temptation. Durin’s own kit offers C1 support stacks that scale with his total ATK and a C2 that grants 50 percent elemental damage bonus to elements reacting with Pyro, turning him into an unmatched team amplifier. Because his constellations directly increase team damage instead of only improving his personal numbers, whales and low spenders alike feel strong pressure to roll.

For free to play players, the safest strategy is to secure at least C0 Durin, pick up Bennett if missing, and then carefully evaluate whether chasing Jahoda C6 or rolling for weapons is worth the Primogems. With Nicole confirmed as a future Pyro vision character, even more Durin centric teams are expected in later patches, reinforcing his long term value.

In short, Durin’s debut banner is shaping up as one of the most stacked lineups in recent Genshin Impact history. Anyone planning to dive into the Luna era, explore Nodkrai with optimized teams and maximize damage in upcoming Abyss rotations will find it very hard to ignore this combination of Durin, Bennett, Faruzan, Jahoda and the new global bow options.
