Columbina Leak Overview. How The New Hydro Support Could Redefine Lunar Reaction Teams

With Columbina getting closer to her debut in Genshin Impact, new kit leaks and early descriptions are giving players a clearer idea of how this Hydro character may reshape the Lunar Reaction meta. According to compiled information from multiple leaker sources, Columbina is designed as a powerful off field Hydro support who can enable all current Lunar Reactions while boosting elemental and critical damage for the entire party. Although everything must still be treated as unofficial, the emerging picture is of a character built to unlock new teams with both old and new units, without forcing players to rely exclusively on Flins, Ineffa, Nefer or the Geo crystallized Adeptus horse to trigger reactions.

Her Elemental Skill is reportedly similar in concept to Furina’s, dealing consistent Hydro damage off field while maintaining enough application to trigger Lunar Electrocargado and Lunar Bloom setups. The main difference is that Columbina would apply Hydro less frequently than Furina, but in a more focused area that works especially well with short to mid range characters like Nefer, Flins or Durin. This makes her an ideal partner for Jahoda and other Nodkrai units that need reliable Hydro contact without losing control of reaction timing.

The biggest highlight is her Elemental Burst, which leaks describe as a huge dome similar to Nahida’s skill radius. Once activated, this dome would cover an entire team rotation with uptime close to an Archon level ability. Inside the field, Columbina is expected to provide damage buffs to Lunar Reactions, though leakers still debate the exact formula. Some suggest she adds directly to the base reaction multiplier, while others believe it will work as a standard damage bonus applied after existing multipliers to keep numbers balanced and avoid absurd damage spikes from units like Flins at C0.

Several sources coincide that Columbina will also interact with team stats such as ATK, Elemental Mastery and DEF, possibly tying each buff to a different Lunar Reaction. For example, Lunar Electrocargado might receive an ATK buff, Lunar Bloom could gain Elemental Mastery, and Lunar Crystallize might increase DEF for characters that scale with it. There are strong indications that some of these bonuses may be locked behind constellations, reinforcing her role as a premium support who scales very hard with investment.

In addition, leaks repeatedly mention a Critical Damage buff associated with Columbina or her dedicated artifact set. Numbers vary from 30 to 80 percent extra crit damage for Lunar Reactions, which would massively benefit Lunar focused carries like Flins, Ineffa and Columbina herself, as well as future Nodkrai supports. It remains unclear whether this crit boost comes directly from Columbina’s kit, from constellations or from a new artifact set tailored to Lunar supports, but consensus is that some form of teamwide crit damage amplification is almost guaranteed.

Since Columbina is Hydro, her kit is also expected to scale with HP in some way. Current speculation points to two main possibilities. Either her HP converts into a unique personal stat so players do not have to chase HP, Crit, EM and Energy Recharge at once, or her max HP directly strengthens the buffs she provides to the team. In practice, this would encourage building her with HP sands and goblet, similar to other post Nodkrai units like Durin or Jahoda, whose goblets no longer rely on elemental damage but on base scaling stats such as ATK or EM.

Another crucial point is that Columbina is rumored to activate all current Lunar Reactions by herself, something previously possible only by spreading the load across multiple five star Nodkrai characters. If true, this means she could enable Lunar Electrocargado, Lunar Bloom and Lunar Crystallize in a wide variety of lineups, breathing new life into older characters like Keqing while opening unique synergies with Durin and other future units. Some leaks even suggest she can trigger Lunar Bloom through on field normal attacks, with DPS style upgrades shifting into late constellations, though this remains highly speculative.

Overall, the early Columbina kit leaks portray her as a universal Lunar Reaction enabler, Hydro applier and critical damage booster who anchors flexible team building in the Nodkrai era. By allowing players to bring Lunar mechanics into classic Electro charged or Bloom compositions, and by offering strong buffs that scale from HP and other core stats, Columbina is positioned to become one of the most important supports for both new and veteran accounts. Until official numbers arrive, fans are advised to stay cautious, but the current outline is enough to justify growing hype around her banner and future synergy with Durin and the rest of the Nodkrai roster.
