The numerical split is the first concrete stat profile attached to the weapon in the source chain inspected for this report. Previous leak coverage had only associated Mitya’s catalyst with a self-focused Elemental Mastery effect, without giving its rarity, weapon class or level 90 attributes. The new post adds those missing basics, but it does not include the weapon’s name, passive description, refinement values, appearance or upgrade materials.

There is one identifiable source chain behind the claim. AboutSnezhnaya’s post was repeated by Seele Leaks roughly ten minutes later, with the same figures and attribution. That repetition is not independent corroboration. LoveHappy’s original item was not available for direct inspection, while the English-language reposts were, so the numbers should be treated as a single-source leak rather than confirmed beta data.

The leaked catalyst favors CRIT DMG over Base ATK

If the figures survive testing, the weapon would reach 542 Base ATK and 88.2% CRIT DMG at level 90. That is a clear low-Base-ATK, high-CRIT-DMG profile for a five-star weapon. It would place a large share of the weapon’s visible stat budget in its secondary stat rather than its attack value.

For players, the immediate appeal is straightforward. An 88.2% CRIT DMG stat can make it easier to build a damage dealer around CRIT Rate artifacts without giving up the chance to reach a strong overall CRIT balance. It does not guarantee a complete build, however. Mitya’s own ascension stat, artifact set, teammates and final passive would still determine how much CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG he needs from artifacts.

The 542 Base ATK figure also needs context. Base ATK contributes to the value of percentage-based ATK bonuses, so a lower value can matter for a character whose damage relies heavily on conventional ATK scaling. A powerful passive, unusual kit conversion or access to other multipliers can offset that tradeoff, but none of those interactions can be calculated from the current post alone.

The leaked numbers therefore describe the weapon’s direction, not its final strength. They suggest a catalyst designed to deliver a very large CRIT DMG stat while leaving more of its identity to the passive effect.

The missing passive is the most important part

Earlier Mitya leaks said his signature weapon would provide a self-focused Elemental Mastery benefit. That remains relevant context, but the September 17 stat post does not restate the passive or explain how the effect activates. It is not yet possible to tell whether the two reports describe the same testing version of the catalyst.

Exact passive wording would answer several questions that the base stats cannot. The effect might grant flat Elemental Mastery, increase it after a particular action, convert another stat into Elemental Mastery, or reward the use of Mitya’s reported summoned units and Polestar Field mechanics. Each possibility would change how the weapon fits his teams and how broadly useful it could be on other catalyst users.

The refinement curve is missing as well. Signature weapons often gain more than one bonus from their passive, and the difference between Refinement 1 and Refinement 5 can reveal which part of an effect HoYoverse expects players to scale. Without those values, any damage comparison against existing catalysts would be premature.

This is also why the leaked 88.2% CRIT DMG figure should not be treated as proof that the weapon will be universally strong. A large secondary stat is attractive, but a narrowly tailored passive can make a signature weapon much better for its intended owner than for the rest of the roster. Conversely, a flexible passive could turn the catalyst into a useful option for several damage dealers. The present leak does not establish either outcome.

How the weapon could fit Mitya’s reported kit

Separate Version 7.2 leaks have described Mitya as a catalyst user who creates summoned units through his Elemental Skill and Elemental Burst. Those reports also mention a Polestar Field system that supplies stacks for a self-focused damage multiplier, with both summons reportedly able to continue attacking while Mitya is off field.

The new weapon figures do not confirm any of those mechanics, but they help define what a signature build might prioritize. High CRIT DMG would support Mitya’s personal damage, including any summon attacks that inherit his offensive stats. A passive involving Elemental Mastery could then connect that direct damage profile to reaction-focused teams or to whatever role the Polestar Field ultimately plays.

Several major details remain unknown. The current posts do not say whether the summoned attacks can snapshot buffs, whether Mitya’s damage scales only from ATK, or whether Elemental Mastery affects a special reaction or conversion in his kit. They also do not explain how long the summons remain active, how often they attack or whether the weapon passive works while Mitya is off field.

Those gaps matter more than the headline stat line when judging team value. A catalyst can look impressive on the inventory screen and still depend on strict activation conditions. Players should wait for a complete passive and a more stable kit before planning artifacts, teammates or Primogem spending around the leak.

HoYoverse has not announced Mitya’s playable release

Mitya already appears in official Snezhnaya story material and in HoYoverse’s Version 7.0 promotion, so the character himself is not a product of the leak. His reported playable kit, Version 7.2 placement and signature weapon are different matters. HoYoverse has not officially announced his banner, combat abilities or catalyst.

That distinction is especially important for version labels. The September post calls the item “Mitya’s weapon 7.2,” but a test label does not guarantee a final release window. Character schedules can move, weapon passives can be rewritten and numerical stats can change before a banner is announced.

The weapon’s visual design is also absent from the evidence. The image attached to the aggregator post is a portrait of Mitya, not a screenshot of the catalyst or its inventory page. No reliable conclusion can be drawn about the weapon’s name, model, lore or color scheme from that artwork.
