Genshin Impact 7.2 Leak Shows Snowy and Crystal-Lit TPS Maps

New images circulated on September 23 as alleged Genshin Impact Version 7.2 “TPS Map” material. The three pictures show sharply different environments: a large mechanical structure under a purple sky, a snow-covered settlement and a luminous cavern or enclosed space. The images are unconfirmed leak material. Their brief caption does not say where the maps appear, how players enter them or whether they belong to a particular event.

Three environments, not three confirmed overworld areas

The first image places a heavy circular or arched structure over a built-up area. Cables descend from its upper span toward machinery in the middle, and a violet glow fills the background. Smaller rooftops and railings are visible below. It is an unusually clear architectural view, but neither the image nor its caption identifies the structure as a station, a railway hub or a named part of Snezhnaya. Those would be tempting connections to other leaked place names, not facts shown here.

A second picture changes both palette and setting. Snow covers the foreground and the buildings beyond it; several pointed rooftops rise against a dark blue sky. Broken timber-like shapes interrupt the approach to the settlement. The view suggests a route toward the buildings, but a still image cannot show whether the area is traversable, how large it is or whether its distant architecture is only scenery. No readable location marker connects this scene to Novokitezhgrad or Port Belovodye.

The third picture moves indoors or underground. A walkway crosses the foreground toward a brighter central space, with tall trunks or pillars, pink foliage and blue-violet crystalline forms on either side. This is a distinct environment from the snowy exterior, not merely a different crop of the same picture. Even so, the image does not identify the cave, its enemies or any objective players might complete there.

What the TPS label can and cannot establish

The accompanying “TPS Map” wording is the only explicit mode label on this three-image group. It is reasonable to read TPS as a shorthand for third-person shooting, but the post does not spell it out or supply rules, weapons, camera controls or a release schedule. These views should not be presented as confirmation of three permanent overworld zones. Equally, their architecture alone cannot prove that they represent the stations, mines or grotto listed in a separate Version 7.2 area leak.

Earlier leaked artwork showed additional snowy and crystalline landscapes in a painterly style. The new set is useful for a different reason: it offers scene-like views with buildings and pathways, rather than only an area name or a broad map outline. Similar colors and motifs are not enough to match each piece of concept art to one of these three pictures. For players following the proposed expansion and event content, the important distinction is between a visible environment and a confirmed playable location.

The images are an early look, not a complete map reveal. Their status, mode, geographical placement and final appearance remain subject to change. A labeled beta interface or an official announcement would be needed to establish what “TPS Map” refers to and how, if at all, these scenes connect to Version 7.2 exploration.
