Genshin Impact 7.2 Valeriy Kit Leak Details Impact Potential and Shield

A new Genshin Impact Version 7.2 leak claims to show Valeriy's complete English kit, including his Impact Potential resource, Electro shield, Burst, passive talents, constellations and Level 6 values. The alleged four-star Electro Sword character appears to combine defensive support with a limited damage bonus that changes according to whether Stellar-Conduct is active.

Chinese kit sheets appeared on September 22, followed shortly by English translations. The material has not been officially confirmed, and the two language versions do not constitute independent verification.

HoYoverse has not announced Valeriy as a playable Version 7.2 character or confirmed any of these mechanics. The images may represent an unreleased test build, and their wording, values and translated terminology can change before release.

Impact Potential powers Valeriy's special Charged Attack

The leaked Normal Attack page introduces Impact Potential, a resource with an initial maximum of 100. Valeriy reportedly needs at least 40 Impact Potential to replace his ordinary Charged Attack with Mortar Fire: Close-Range Barrage. Using that special attack consumes all available Impact Potential, deals Area of Effect Electro damage in front of him and grants 15 stacks of Assault Command.

The sheet lists several ways to generate the resource. Casting his Elemental Skill grants 40 Impact Potential. While his Burst is active, Electro attacks from the nearby active character reportedly give Valeriy 5 Impact Potential when they hit an opponent. The accompanying passive limits the Burst-based gain to 80 Impact Potential during each Burst.

Assault Command is the central support effect described by the page. When the nearby active character deals Electro damage, one stack is consumed to add a damage bonus based on Valeriy's ATK. The type of damage that can trigger the bonus depends on the team's state. In Stellar-Conduct, the hit must be Electro damage considered Stellar-Conduct reaction damage. Outside that state, an Electro hit from a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill or Elemental Burst can consume a stack.

The leaked text does not say that Assault Command turns ordinary Electro damage into Stellar-Conduct. It describes two separate trigger conditions for the same stack system, so those conditions should not be combined into a stronger conversion mechanic.

At Level 6, the sheet lists an Electro damage bonus equal to 29.34% of Valeriy's ATK outside Stellar-Conduct and a Stellar-Conduct reaction damage bonus equal to 88.03% of his ATK. Assault Command has a maximum of 15 stacks and a listed duration of 18 seconds. If one damage instance hits multiple opponents simultaneously, the number of stacks consumed depends on the number of enemies hit.

The same page lists Mortar Fire: Close-Range Barrage at 320.9%, while the ordinary three-hit Normal Attack sequence is shown at 47.2%, 42.6% and 66%. Those are leaked Level 6 values, not final release numbers.

His Skill provides a shield and starts the resource loop

Valeriy's alleged Elemental Skill is named Offensive Defense: Fortress Advance. It raises his shield and sends him forward, dealing Area of Effect Electro damage, granting 40 Impact Potential and deploying an Electro Shield.

The shield scales with Valeriy's ATK rather than HP or DEF in the current sheet. It is also said to absorb Electro damage with 250% effectiveness. At Level 6, the Skill damage is listed at 232.4%, while the shield absorbs damage equal to 292.5% of Valeriy's ATK plus 2,074. The shield lasts 18 seconds and the Skill has a 10-second cooldown.

Those values would give the shield more listed duration than the cooldown, but the image does not explain whether a new cast refreshes, replaces or stacks with an existing shield. It also does not provide interruption-resistance wording beyond the shield itself.

The Burst, Firepower Focus: Thunderous Assault, reportedly deals Area of Effect Electro damage and launches a Thunderstorm Shell. The Shell then disperses into repeated barrages that fall onto the ground and deal more Area of Effect Electro damage to nearby opponents.

The Level 6 Burst page lists the initial hit at 189.2% and each Thunderstorm Shell hit at 44.1%. The effect lasts 12 seconds, has a 15-second cooldown and costs 60 Energy. The images do not state the exact attack interval, total number of barrages or how many times one opponent can be hit.

The passives scale Assault Command with consumed resources

Valeriy's first ascension passive, Accompanied by Advancing Barrage, is tied to the Burst. While the Thunderstorm Shell is falling, an Electro hit from the nearby active character reportedly gives Valeriy 5 Impact Potential. The effect can supply no more than 80 Impact Potential during each Burst.

His other ascension passive, Charge the Breach, increases the damage bonus provided by Assault Command according to the amount of Impact Potential consumed by Mortar Fire. Each point consumed adds an amount equal to 0.9% of Valeriy's ATK to the Stellar-Conduct version of the bonus. Outside Stellar-Conduct, each point adds an amount equal to 0.3% of his ATK.

The wording suggests that a larger resource spend strengthens the subsequent Assault Command stacks, but it does not print a separate cap for this passive. The base maximum of 100 Impact Potential and the constellation changes therefore matter when estimating the possible ceiling, although the real result would still depend on the final implementation.

Valeriy's exploration passive increases rewards from 20-hour expeditions in Snezhnaya by 25%, excluding Nod-Krai. This is an ordinary expedition utility and does not affect combat.

Constellations add Energy, Elemental Mastery and shield scaling

Valeriy's C1 reportedly restores 6 Energy after Mortar Fire: Close-Range Barrage. For every 10 Impact Potential consumed beyond 40, it restores another 1.5 Energy, up to a total maximum of 15 Energy from the effect. It can trigger once every 15 seconds. The first time Valeriy casts his Skill after entering combat, he also gains Impact Potential equal to 150% of the original amount, which would raise the listed 40-point gain if the wording survives testing.

C2 gives all nearby party members 100 Elemental Mastery for 18 seconds after Valeriy casts his Skill. It also converts excess Impact Potential into additional shield absorption when the resource is already at its maximum. Each excess point adds an amount equal to 8% of Valeriy's ATK, and up to 20 excess points can be converted this way.

C4 raises the maximum Impact Potential by 30 and increases its generation rate by 30%. This could interact with the consumption-based passive and C2 overflow conversion, but the sheet does not provide enough test behavior to determine which effect takes priority when Valeriy reaches the higher cap.

C6 doubles the damage of Mortar Fire: Close-Range Barrage and the Thunderstorm Shell. After either hits an opponent, Valeriy's Electro damage gains 10% CRIT Rate for seven seconds. If that Electro damage is considered Stellar-Conduct reaction damage, its CRIT DMG is also increased by 40%.

These full sheets materially expand earlier Valeriy reporting. An earlier September 22 leak claimed that Valeriy gives Electro characters 15% CRIT Rate and 30% CRIT DMG, but it did not provide a trigger, duration or complete talent page. The newer kit sheets instead show a 10% CRIT Rate and 40% CRIT DMG effect at C6 with specific conditions. The available evidence does not establish whether the earlier sentence described a different test snapshot, another effect omitted from these pages or an inaccurate summary.

A separate post lists one reported beta team

A separate Version 7.2 team suggestion lists Mitya, Valeriy, Odetta and either Sucrose or the Cryo Traveler. It is described as a beta team, but no gameplay footage or explanation of the two fourth-slot options accompanies the claim.

The composition is plausible as context for the leaked mechanics because Mitya and Valeriy are both described around Electro, Cryo and Stellar-Conduct interactions. That connection remains an interpretation, not proof that the lineup is optimal or that all four characters will retain their reported roles.

For now, the new leak is most useful as a detailed snapshot of Valeriy's alleged test kit. It supplies the resource rules, shield formula, Burst timing, passive scaling and constellation effects that earlier summaries lacked. Every value remains unofficial and subject to change until HoYoverse releases final character information or later test data independently confirms the same wording.
