The Genshin Impact Version 7.1 Beta V2 has reportedly been released with a download size of approximately 2.22GB, giving players another look at changes being tested for the upcoming Snezhnaya update. According to the latest leak information, Vodyanitsa and Vesna themselves have received no direct changes in 7.1 V2, while Vodyanitsa's signature weapon has received several notable adjustments.
The same beta information also reveals additional details about Vesna's flight mechanics and provides a possible timeline for several future Snezhnaya rewards and cosmetics.
As always, these details come from an unreleased beta build and are completely unofficial and subject to change before the content reaches the live version.
Vodyanitsa and Vesna Receive No Direct Changes in 7.1 V2
The latest beta update reportedly contains no changes to Vodyanitsa or Vesna themselves. Their current kits and character mechanics appear to remain unchanged from the previous beta version.
This is particularly notable because both characters have already received extensive attention through earlier leaks covering their gameplay, animations and combat mechanics. The lack of direct changes in V2 could indicate that their current versions are undergoing more limited adjustments ahead of the final release.
However, beta development can change rapidly, so the absence of changes in this specific update should not be interpreted as confirmation that their kits are final.
Vodyanitsa Signature Weapon Changes in 7.1 V2
The most significant adjustment in the new beta concerns Vodyanitsa's signature weapon. Several effects have reportedly been modified.
The weapon's Healing Bonus has been reduced from 8% to 4%.
Its HP buff has also changed from 5% to 4% per stack. At three stacks, this reportedly lowers the total HP bonus from 15% to 12%. The weapon's enhancement value at three stacks is also reported to change from 26.25% to 21%.
Another major adjustment affects its ATK bonus. The weapon reportedly provides additional ATK based on every 1,000 HP exceeding 40,000 HP. The value increases from 0.25% per stack, up to 5%, to 0.4% per stack, up to 8%.
With three stacks and the reported 75% increase, the calculated maximum is said to move from approximately 26.25% to 42%.
The duration of the weapon's buff has also reportedly been increased. Instead of lasting 8 seconds, the effect could now remain active for 10 seconds.
These changes represent a mixed adjustment for Vodyanitsa's weapon. Some defensive and healing-related values have been reduced, while the ATK scaling based on excess HP has reportedly been increased substantially. This could shift the weapon's value toward builds that prioritize very high HP totals while maintaining its offensive scaling.
