Genshin Impact 6.6 Beta v3 Leak Reveals Prune Buffs, Swirl ATK Boost and A4 Scaling Rework

The latest Genshin Impact 6.6 beta v3 update introduces important Prune changes, including a stronger Swirl-triggered ATK buff and a reworked A4 passive scaling, significantly improving her late game potential.

The newly released Genshin Impact 6.6 beta v3, reportedly around 1.66GB, continues to reshape unreleased characters, with Prune receiving notable buffs and scaling adjustments. These changes focus on enhancing her reaction synergy and stat conversion mechanics, reinforcing her role as a flexible support or sub DPS unit.

One of the most impactful updates comes from her Hexerei Swirl-triggering ATK buff, which has been increased from 20 percent to 30 percent. This improvement directly boosts her value in reaction based teams, particularly those centered around Swirl interactions, making her a stronger enabler in compositions that rely on elemental spread and amplification.

In addition to this, Prune’s A4 passive ability has been significantly reworked, altering both its scaling condition and maximum potential. Previously, the passive granted 0.01 percent damage bonus per ATK above 1000, capped at 35 percent. In the new beta version, this has been adjusted to 0.02 percent damage bonus per ATK above 2000, with a higher cap of 50 percent.

This change indicates a clear shift toward high investment scaling, where Prune benefits more from stacking larger amounts of ATK. While the new threshold requires greater stat commitment, the doubled scaling rate and increased cap suggest that endgame builds will see substantially higher returns, especially in optimized setups.

From a gameplay perspective, these adjustments reinforce Prune’s identity as a scaling dependent support, capable of providing significant damage amplification when properly built. The synergy between her Swirl triggered buff and A4 passive also points toward strong compatibility with Anemo driven teams and reaction focused compositions.

Community reactions to these beta v3 changes have been largely positive, with many players noting that Prune’s buffs improve her viability without fundamentally altering her playstyle. Theorycrafters are already exploring how the increased ATK scaling could impact team building, particularly in combination with characters that can rapidly trigger Swirl reactions.

At the same time, some caution remains regarding the higher ATK requirement for her A4 passive. While the increased cap is appealing, reaching optimal efficiency may require stronger artifacts or specific team setups, potentially raising her build complexity.

As always, it is important to emphasize that this information is based on beta leaks and is not final. Values, mechanics, and scaling may still change before the official release of Version 6.6. Despite this, the direction of these adjustments clearly suggests that Prune is being positioned as a high ceiling support with strong reaction synergy and late game scaling potential.

With more beta updates and gameplay leaks expected in the coming weeks, Prune’s final role in the Version 6.6 meta will continue to evolve. For now, these buffs mark a significant step forward in her development.
