In a surprising turn of events, the latest Genshin Impact 6.5 leaks confirm that the previously reported Linnea mining nerf has been fully reverted. According to updated beta data, Linnea has regained her powerful exploration passive, allowing her to once again one shot all mineral types, including Iron Chunks, White Iron, and Crystal Chunks.
This reversal comes shortly after earlier leaks indicated that Linnea would require multiple hits to break Crystal Chunks, significantly reducing her efficiency in resource farming. However, the newest information suggests that developers have decided to restore her original mining capability, making her one of the most efficient characters for overworld material collection.
The return of this ability has major implications for gameplay. With the restored passive, Linnea becomes an extremely valuable unit not only for her Geo support role and Lunar Crystallize mechanics, but also for her exploration utility. Being able to instantly break all mineral nodes streamlines farming routes and reduces the time required to gather essential resources used in weapon crafting and upgrades.
This change is particularly notable given the timing. The update arrives during the final phase of the beta cycle, with only 4 days remaining before the official Genshin Impact 6.5 Special Program. Adjustments at this stage are often considered final or near final, increasing the likelihood that Linnea’s restored mining ability could be included in the official release version.
