Genshin Impact 6.3 Gameplay Showcases New Local Legends and Introduces Skirk and Ororon to TCG

Three powerful Local Legends debut in Version 6.3 alongside early gameplay details for Skirk and Ororon in Genius Invokation TCG

New gameplay information from Genshin Impact Version 6.3 highlights the introduction of three new Local Legends, each designed to challenge players with massive HP pools, unique elemental resistances, and punishing combat mechanics. These Local Legends are expected to appear in specific regions and function as high difficulty overworld encounters, similar to elite bosses that test team optimization, reaction usage, and survivability.

  • The first highlighted enemy is Local Legend 1: Battle-Hardened Radiant Glacial Wolf. This Cryo-aligned beast stands out for its extremely high durability, reaching over five million HP at Level 103, and its aggressive attack patterns that pressure shields and healing. Gameplay showcases suggest that the Radiant Glacial Wolf excels at area control, forcing players to manage positioning carefully while dealing with constant Cryo application. Teams that rely on Freeze may struggle, making reaction flexibility and sustained damage especially important in this fight.

  • Next is Local Legend 2: Hexadecatonic Battle-Hardened Mandragora, a Dendro-based enemy with one of the most unusual stat profiles seen so far. With nearly four million HP and exceptionally high Dendro-related modifiers, this Local Legend emphasizes reaction-based combat, particularly against teams that overcommit to Dendro cores without defensive planning. Gameplay footage indicates frequent AoE attacks and persistent environmental pressure, rewarding teams that can balance burst damage, crowd control, and survivability.

  • The third encounter, Local Legend 3: Hiljetta, shifts the challenge toward raw endurance and mixed elemental resistance. Hiljetta features the highest HP pool among the three, exceeding six million HP, alongside notable elemental damage modifiers that reduce the effectiveness of careless team compositions. Her combat style appears slower but highly punishing, with attacks capable of overwhelming players who fail to manage cooldowns properly. This Local Legend seems designed to test long rotation efficiency and consistent damage output rather than short burst windows alone.

Together, these three Local Legends reinforce Version 6.3’s focus on harder overworld content, encouraging players to experiment with new team synergies, reaction timing, and defensive options instead of relying solely on raw DPS.

In addition to overworld challenges, Version 6.3 also expands Genius Invokation TCG with the arrival of Skirk and Ororon as playable TCG characters. Early gameplay showcases reveal that both characters bring distinct card mechanics that reflect their lore and combat identity. Skirk’s TCG kit appears to emphasize aggressive tempo and pressure, rewarding proactive play and precise sequencing. Ororon, on the other hand, introduces mechanics centered around control and reaction-based setups, offering players more strategic depth during longer matches.

The addition of Skirk and Ororon further strengthens TCG’s role as a parallel competitive experience within Genshin Impact, providing fresh deck-building opportunities and new tactical options for dedicated players.

Overall, Genshin Impact 6.3 continues to expand both PvE difficulty and TCG gameplay depth, with Local Legends offering meaningful combat challenges and new TCG characters enriching the strategic landscape. These updates signal a clear push toward more engaging endgame-adjacent content across multiple game modes.
