Yaoyao is a versatile Dendro healer primarily optimized for Nilou Bloom teams and Spread compositions. This Yaoyao build focuses on maximizing her healing and Dendro application through high Energy Recharge and HP scaling to ensure her burst is always available for the team.
Best Weapons
- Favonius Lance: This is the best weapon for Yaoyao because it provides essential Energy Recharge and generates particles for the whole team. It is the top choice for maintaining smooth rotations and acting as a battery for energy-hungry teammates.
Best Artifacts
- Deepwood Memories: This is the primary artifact set for Yaoyao to provide Dendro resistance shred for the team. It is essential when she is the sole Dendro support, allowing your main DPS to deal significantly more damage.
- Instructor: Use this set to buff team Elemental Mastery in Bloom teams where reaction damage is the priority. It is a highly effective four-star option that increases the damage of Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon triggers.
- Tenacity of the Millelith: This set is a possible option if you are playing Yaoyao alongside a shielder or need the extra HP. It provides a small attack buff to the team while increasing Yaoyao's personal healing through the HP percentage bonus.
- Noblesse Oblige: This serves as an alternative set if no other character on the team is currently carrying it. It provides a reliable attack buff for the entire party after Yaoyao uses her Elemental Burst.
Teams and Stat Priorities
- For stat priorities, aim for 160% to 180% Energy Recharge to ensure burst uptime, along with 28k to 30k Max HP. You should also target 60% to 70% Crit Rate to proc the Favonius Lance passive reliably.
- Nilou Bloom teams featuring Nilou, Nahida, and Xingchiu or Yelan benefit greatly from Yaoyao's consistent healing. She provides the necessary Dendro application and survivability required to withstand the self-damage from constant Bountiful Core explosions.
- Alhaitham Spread and Aggravate teams utilize Yaoyao alongside Fischl and Nahida or Bennett for high single-target damage. In this niche, she provides the Dendro resonance and healing while allowing Alhaitham to focus entirely on his offensive stats.
