A fictional story of a band of five heroes who go off on a dragon hunt. It is poorly written and structurally incoherent. Its value lies in the many lessons that can be learned from failure.
Important: If your Xianyun is C2, she should always use weapons that give high ATK, such as her signature weapon Crane’s Echoing Call or Skyward Atlas, and also in teams where the main DPS doesn’t benefit from the ATK provided by Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer.
If your Xianyun is C0/C1, in practically any situation she should use Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer, unless the main DPS doesn’t benefit from the ATK boost.

When the duration expires, the Yearning effect will be transformed into the "Waves of Days Past" effect: When your active party member hits an opponent with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, the DMG dealt will be increased by 8% of the total healing amount recorded by the Yearning effect. The "Waves of Days Past" effect is removed after it has taken effect 5 times or after 10s. A single instance of the Yearning effect can record up to 15,000 healing, and only a single instance can exist at once, but it can record the healing from multiple equipping characters. Equipping characters on standby can still trigger this effect.

- Skyward Atlas: A strong five star alternative that offers high base ATK and a significant ATK percentage secondary stat. It helps Xianyun reach her high stat requirements to maximize the flat damage bonus provided to the active character.
- Oathsworn Eye: This limited event weapon is an excellent choice for balancing her needs. It provides a substantial ATK percentage and a massive Energy Recharge buff after using an Elemental Skill, making it easier to maintain her burst.
- Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayers: A powerful three star support option for teams where the main DPS scales heavily with ATK. By switching from Xianyun to your carry, you provide a massive 48 percent ATK buff for ten seconds.

- Song of Days Past: This is the recommended artifact set for most plunge attack teams, especially when supporting Gaming. It converts Xianyun's high healing output into a flat damage bonus for the active character, further boosting their plunge hits.
- Viridescent Venerer: The best artifact set for Permafrost and elemental teams requiring resistance shred. It allows Xianyun to decrease the enemy's elemental resistance by 40 percent when she triggers a Swirl reaction, significantly increasing the team's overall damage.
Teams and Stat Priorities
- Stat Priorities: Focus on reaching 4500 total ATK to cap her passive buff while maintaining 180 percent to 190 percent Energy Recharge. Prioritize ATK percentage and flat ATK substats to ensure her healing and buffs are as strong as possible.
- Xiao Plunge Team: This premium team features Xiao, Faruzan, and Furina to create a powerful Hypercarry setup. Xianyun provides the necessary healing for Furina's Fanfare stacks while enabling Xiao to reach his maximum damage potential through her buffs.
- Gaming Vaporize Team: A highly effective team using Gaming, Furina, and Bennett to trigger massive Vaporize hits. Xianyun is essential here for enabling Gaming's plunge attacks and providing the Anemo utility needed to shred resistances and buff the team.
