- Bloodtainted Greatsword: This three star weapon is a surprisingly powerful budget option that offers a high Elemental Mastery substat. It is often more effective than certain four star alternatives for players who need to maximize reaction damage without high investment.
- Sacrificial Greatsword: This weapon is essential for meeting high Energy Recharge targets while allowing Kaveh to use his Elemental Skill twice. Resetting the cooldown helps with particle generation, making it much easier to maintain his Burst uptime during long rotations.
Best Artifacts
- Gilded Dreams: This is the best in slot choice for maximizing Elemental Mastery across your entire artifact sets. It provides a significant stat boost based on team composition, which directly increases Kaveh's self healing and the damage of his Dendro core detonations.
- Flower of Paradise Lost: This set is a strong alternative specifically designed to increase the damage of Bloom reactions. It is ideal for players who want to push Kaveh's personal reaction output to the limit when he is the primary trigger for cores.
- Deepwood Memories: Use this set if no other teammate is currently equipped with it to shred Dendro RES. Reducing enemy resistance is vital for team damage, though it is usually better to place this on a support character if possible.
Teams and Stat Priorities
- For stat priorities, focus on reaching 800 to 1200 Elemental Mastery to maximize reaction scaling. You must also aim for 180% to 190% Energy Recharge to ensure his Burst is available every rotation for consistent Dendro infusion.
- The Nilou Bloom team featuring Kaveh, Nilou, Nahida, and Xingqiu is his most powerful niche. This composition generates a massive amount of bountiful cores that Kaveh can safely detonate while receiving healing from his own passive abilities and Hydro resonance.
