HoYoverse has officially unveiled the Version “Luna IV” Event Wishes Notice Phase II for Genshin Impact, confirming the second wave of limited time character and weapon banners scheduled for the latter half of the update. Phase II places major emphasis on Geo focused team compositions, while also bringing back one of the most powerful Hydro damage dealers in the game. With two high profile five star characters and a strong weapon banner lineup, this phase is expected to play a key role in shaping player spending strategies throughout Luna IV.
The first featured banner is Event Wish “Harmonious Abundance”, a Character Event Wish centered on the debut of the event exclusive five star character White Horse’s Fleeting Spring Zibai (Geo). During this wish period, Zibai receives a huge drop rate boost, making this the only opportunity to obtain her while the banner is active. As an event exclusive character, Zibai will not be added to the standard banner Wanderlust Invocation, reinforcing the limited nature of this release. Her Geo alignment and thematic identity suggest strong synergy with shield based and defense oriented team setups, especially for players who favor structured, resilient combat styles.
Accompanying Zibai are three boosted four star characters. These include Nightmare’s Burning Heart Illuga (Geo), Clinky Clank Gadgets A Gogo Aino (Hydro), and Canine Warrior Gorou (Geo). This lineup heavily favors Geo compositions, with Gorou serving as a well established Geo support and Illuga adding additional Geo utility. Aino introduces Hydro flexibility, enabling elemental reactions and broader team options. Notably, after this event wish concludes, Illuga (Geo) will be added to the standard banner in the next version, making this phase an early access opportunity for players who want her immediately.
Running concurrently is Event Wish “Decree of the Deeps”, classified as Character Event Wish 2. This banner features the returning five star character Ordainer of Inexorable Judgment Neuvillette (Hydro), who also receives a massive drop rate boost during Phase II. Neuvillette is widely regarded as a top tier Hydro damage dealer, known for his sustained damage output and unique scaling mechanics. His return makes Phase II especially attractive for players who missed him previously or are aiming to strengthen their Hydro focused teams.
The four star lineup on Decree of the Deeps mirrors Harmonious Abundance, featuring Illuga (Geo), Aino (Hydro), and Gorou (Geo). As with other paired banners, the wish guarantee count is shared between Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish 2. This means Travelers can freely wish on either Zibai’s or Neuvillette’s banner while maintaining the same pity progress, offering greater flexibility in how Primogems are spent.
Both character banners include access to the Test Run trial event. This allows players to test Zibai, Neuvillette, and the boosted four star characters using fixed trial lineups. Completing these challenges provides rewards and helps Travelers evaluate playstyles, elemental synergy, and overall performance before committing to wishes.
Phase II also introduces a new Epitome Invocation weapon banner. During this period, the event exclusive five star weapons Lightbearing Moonshard (Sword) and Tome of the Eternal Flow (Catalyst) receive a huge drop rate boost. These weapons are designed to complement high impact characters, particularly those featured in the Luna IV update cycle.
The weapon banner further boosts several four star options, including the event exclusive Xiphos’ Moonlight (Sword), alongside Favonius Greatsword (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Eye of Perception (Catalyst), and Favonius Warbow (Bow). Players can once again rely on the Epitomized Path system to chart a guaranteed course toward either featured five star weapon, reducing long term risk and improving banner efficiency. As expected, event exclusive weapons will not be available through Wanderlust Invocation.
Overall, Version “Luna IV” Phase II Event Wishes deliver a powerful mix of new and returning characters, Geo focused synergy, and high value weapon options. With Zibai’s debut, Neuvillette’s return, and a robust Epitome Invocation lineup, Phase II stands as a critical period for roster expansion and long term optimization. Travelers planning to invest Primogems should carefully consider banner durations and shared pity mechanics to maximize their results during this limited time window.
