HoYoverse has officially revealed the Version “Luna IV” Event Wishes Notice Phase I for Genshin Impact, confirming the first wave of character and weapon banners following the Luna IV update. This phase places a strong spotlight on Columbina, the highly anticipated Hydro character tied to the Welkin Moon’s Homecoming, alongside boosted four star characters and exclusive five star weapons. For many Travelers, Phase I represents one of the most important wishing periods of the entire version due to its character lineup and long term meta potential.
The first banner, Event Wish “Somnias a Luna”, is a Character Event Wish featuring a massive drop rate boost for the event exclusive five star character Welkin Moon’s Homecoming Columbina (Hydro). Columbina’s arrival marks a major milestone in the Luna IV narrative, and her Hydro element positions her as a potentially flexible option for reaction focused team compositions. As an event exclusive unit, Columbina will not be added to the standard banner Wanderlust Invocation, making this wish period a limited opportunity for players who want to obtain her.
Alongside Columbina, three four star characters also receive boosted drop rates. These include Wisdom’s Measure Sethos (Electro), Prinzessin der Verurteilung Fischl (Electro), and In the Wake of Wandering Winds Ifa (Anemo). This four star lineup offers strong elemental synergy, energy generation, and off field damage potential, making the Somnias a Luna banner especially appealing for both new players and veterans looking to strengthen their roster.
Running in parallel is Event Wish “Astral Actuation”, categorized as Character Event Wish 2. This banner follows the same event duration as Somnias a Luna, lasting until February 3, 2026 at 17:59 after the Version Luna IV update. While this banner highlights Boom Boom Thunderwave Ineffa (Electro) as its featured five star unit, it also shares the same boosted four star characters, namely Sethos, Fischl, and Ifa. Importantly, the wish guarantee count is shared between Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish 2, allowing Travelers to build pity across both banners without losing progress.
Both character banners include access to the Test Run trial event. This feature allows Travelers to test Columbina, Ineffa, and the boosted four star characters using fixed trial lineups. Completing these test challenges grants additional rewards and helps players make informed decisions before committing Primogems to wishes.
In addition to character banners, Phase I also introduces the Event Wish “Epitome Invocation”, which focuses on exclusive weapons. During this period, the five star weapons Nocturne’s Curtain Call (Catalyst) and Fractured Halo (Polearm) receive a huge drop rate boost. These weapons are designed to synergize with featured and upcoming characters in Version Luna IV, making them highly desirable for players aiming to optimize damage output and team performance.
The weapon banner also boosts several four star weapons, including Mountain Bracing Bolt (Polearm), Waveriding Whirl (Catalyst), and Mitternachts Waltz (Bow), as well as standard four star options like The Flute (Sword) and Sacrificial Greatsword (Claymore). Travelers can use the Epitomized Path system to chart a guaranteed route toward either featured five star weapon, ensuring more control over long term weapon investment. As with the character banners, event exclusive weapons will not be available in Wanderlust Invocation.
Overall, Version “Luna IV” Phase I Event Wishes represent a high value period for summoning, featuring a mix of powerful characters, popular four stars, and exclusive weapons. With shared pity mechanics, test run access, and strong elemental coverage, this phase is expected to attract significant attention from the Genshin Impact community. Travelers planning their Primogem spending should carefully review banner details and timelines to make the most of this limited time opportunity.
