HoYoverse has officially released the Version “Luna IV” Events Calendar, giving Travelers a clear overview of everything planned for January and February in Genshin Impact. The calendar confirms a packed schedule filled with event wishes, web events, Lantern Rite themed activities, and recurring endgame content. All event times shown are based on UTC+8, and players are reminded to check in game notices for precise details.
The calendar confirms that Version “Luna IV” officially launches on January 14, following the Luna IV Special Program on January 2. One of the earliest highlights is the Event Wish “Somnias a Luna”, which begins shortly after the version update, marking the start of a new lunar themed narrative phase. This banner period aligns with the introduction of highly anticipated characters and story developments tied to the Welkin Moon arc.
Several Primogem rewarding events are spread across January. The web event “Memories of the Moon” runs from December 31 to January 13, allowing players to earn up to Primogems ×160 alongside exclusive wallpapers. Shortly after, “Where the Moon Returns” appears as both a community and web event, offering additional Primogems and reinforcing the lunar motif that defines Luna IV.
Mid January introduces Shutterflash Memory Hunt, running from January 16 to January 26. This event provides Primogems Ă—420, making it one of the more rewarding activities of the month. At the same time, the combat focused Stygian Onslaught begins on January 21 and continues into late February, offering Primogems Ă—450 for players seeking high difficulty challenges.
The calendar also highlights Lantern Rite content, officially titled “A Lanternlit Ode to the Silver Moon”, running from January 30 to February 23. This flagship seasonal event features festive gameplay, themed rewards, and a significant Primogem payout of 1,060, positioning it as the centerpiece of Luna IV. Lantern Rite remains one of the most important annual celebrations in Genshin Impact, combining story, culture, and generous rewards.
February continues the momentum with additional activities. The Event Wish “Harmonious Abundance” begins on February 3, followed by Moonlit Patrol Exercise from February 9 to February 23, offering Primogems ×420. Later in the month, players can benefit from Ley Line Overflow, running from February 16 to February 23, allowing efficient farming of character and weapon resources.
Permanent and recurring content is also clearly marked. Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater remain active throughout the version, ensuring consistent endgame challenges for veteran players. Additionally, the Second Cycle of “To Temper Thyself and Journey Far” continues until late February, providing ongoing objectives for those focused on long term progression.
Visually, the calendar prominently features Columbina, reinforcing her central role in the Luna IV era. Her presence alongside moonlit motifs, doves, and soft blue tones strengthens the version’s identity and signals her narrative importance throughout these events.
Overall, the Version Luna IV Events Calendar confirms that early 2026 will be one of the most content rich periods in recent Genshin Impact history. With a strong balance of story events, combat challenges, web activities, and Lantern Rite festivities, Travelers have plenty of reasons to log in consistently and plan their time carefully throughout the update.
