HoYoverse has announced the Astral Actuation Character Event Wish coming in Version “Luna IV” of Genshin Impact, giving Travelers their next chance to obtain popular characters and strengthen their rosters. This event wish will be available starting January 14, 2026, and runs through February 3, 2026 at 17:59 (UTC+8), offering boosted drop rates for a key Electro character and several beloved four star units.
The centerpiece of Astral Actuation is the event-exclusive five star character “Boom Boom Thunderwave” Ineffa (Electro). During this wish period, Ineffa will receive a huge boost to her drop rate, making it easier for Travelers to obtain her without relying on the standard Wanderlust Invocation banner. As an event exclusive, she will not be available in the standard banner outside this phase, so players hoping to add her to their roster should prioritize pulling during Astral Actuation.
Accompanying Ineffa’s featured boost are three four star characters with enhanced drop rates. These include “Wisdom’s Measure” Sethos (Electro), “Prinzessin der Verurteilung!” Fischl (Electro), and “In the Wake of Wandering Winds” Ifa (Anemo). With this lineup, Travelers have a strong pool of utility and elemental versatility to pull from. Sethos and Fischl offer reliable Electro application and support, while Ifa brings Anemo swirls and elemental control to various teams, making the banner appealing to a wide range of playstyles.
Just like other Character Event Wishes, Astral Actuation features a shared guarantee count between Character Event Wish and Character Event Wish-2. This means pity progress carries over if players pull on multiple event banners within the same version, reducing the risk of “lost” progress when switching between wishes. As a result, Travelers can plan their pulls strategically across banners while retaining their hard-earned pity.
Another exciting aspect of this event banner is the inclusion of the Test Run trial event. During Astral Actuation, Travelers will be able to participate in special trial stages that allow them to use fixed lineups featuring the banner’s highlighted characters. These trials offer a hands-on preview of how Ineffa, Sethos, Ifa, and Fischl perform in combat, helping players make informed decisions before spending Primogems on wishes. Completing these trial challenges also yields rewards tied to the event.
Overall, Astral Actuation is shaping up to be one of the most appealing early-version banners in Luna IV, especially for players seeking to pull Ineffa and strengthen both Electro and Anemo team options. With boosted four star drop rates, shared pity mechanics, and a trial system to test characters before pulling, this event wish gives Travelers both flexibility and incentive to engage with the banner during its limited availability.
