Genshin Impact Version “Luna III” continues to expand with the official reveal of Phase II Event Wishes, bringing new opportunities for Travelers to strengthen their rosters with powerful characters and weapons. According to the official announcement, this phase focuses on two featured five star characters, Varesa (Electro) and Xilonen (Geo), alongside a highly anticipated weapon banner that caters to multiple playstyles and team compositions.
The first banner, Character Event Wish “Cornucopia of Contention,” features a significant drop rate boost for “Strength in Serenity” Varesa, an Electro five star character whose calm demeanor contrasts with her destructive elemental potential. Alongside Varesa, the four star lineup includes Iansan (Electro), Chevreuse (Pyro), and Gaming (Pyro), making this banner particularly appealing for players looking to expand their Electro and Pyro team options. As with all limited character banners, Varesa will not be added to the standard wish pool, reinforcing her exclusivity during this event period.
Running in parallel, Character Event Wish “Forgefire’s Blessing” highlights “Ardent Flames Forge the Soul” Xilonen, a Geo five star character whose role emphasizes durability, synergy, and sustained pressure in combat. The supporting four star characters remain the same as the Varesa banner, allowing players to target constellations for Iansan, Chevreuse, and Gaming regardless of which five star they pursue. Both character banners share the same pity system, ensuring progress carries over between them.
In addition to character wishes, Weapon Event Wish “Epitome Invocation” introduces boosted drop rates for the five star weapons Vivid Notions (Catalyst) and Peak Patrol Song (Sword). These weapons are designed to complement advanced builds and scale efficiently with modern Version 6.x mechanics. The banner also includes notable four star weapons such as Fruitful Hook, Alley Hunter, Favonius Sword, Favonius Lance, and The Widsith, offering strong value for both new and veteran players. The Epitomized Path system remains available, allowing Travelers to chart a precise course toward their desired five star weapon.
To help players make informed decisions, Test Run events will be available throughout Phase II. These trials allow Travelers to experience Varesa and Xilonen in pre built teams, evaluate their gameplay feel, and better understand how they fit into current meta strategies before committing Primogems.
Overall, Version “Luna III” Phase II reinforces HoYoverse’s focus on banner value, flexibility, and player choice. With strong Electro and Geo options, a shared pity system, and a versatile weapon banner, this phase stands out as a key moment for roster optimization ahead of future updates.
