The latest Genshin Impact 6.3 beta build includes notable changes to two upcoming weapons. The reworked stats and passives directly support the new Lunar Crystallize mechanic introduced this cycle. These updates suggest that Geo and reaction focused teams may see stronger damage scaling and improved synergy, making the patch potentially transformative for characters who benefit from hybrid elemental strategies.
Navia’s 5 star claymore "Verdict" now optimized for reaction damage
The updated Verdict claymore features a base stat of 674 ATK with 22.1 percent Crit Rate, giving it strong offensive scaling. The weapon passive, Many Oaths of Dawn and Dusk, increases ATK by 20, 25, 30, 35, or 40 percent, depending on refinement. Players gain stacks called Seals when party members obtain Elemental Shards from Crystallize or trigger Lunar Crystallize.
These Seals boost Elemental Skill damage by 18, 22.5, 27, 31.5, or 36 percent per stack for 15 seconds, with up to 2 stacks available. All stacks are consumed when the wielder deals Elemental Skill damage. This creates an offensive loop that encourages constant shard generation and rotation timing.
A crucial detail is that only one Seal can be gained every second through Lunar Crystallize, promoting consistent engagement with the new reaction and rewarding team compositions that can trigger it frequently.
The result is that Navia and other Geo characters will likely transition into a reaction DPS role, rather than pure stat scaling, creating a potential meta shift in 6.3.
4 Star claymore "Flame-Forged Insight" receives support focused passive
The updated Flame-Forged Insight provides 510 Base ATK and 165.4 Elemental Mastery, immediately positioning it as a hybrid support DPS option.
Its effect, Mind in Bloom, activates when Electro-Charged, Lunar-Charged, Bloom, Lunar-Bloom, Crystallize or Lunar Crystallize are triggered. The user gains 12, 15, 18, 21, or 24 Elemental Energy and 60, 75, 90, 105, or 120 Elemental Mastery for 15 seconds, once per 15 seconds.
Importantly, this bonus still triggers while the character is off-field, making the weapon valuable for EM scalers, battery roles, and reaction enablers. Based on its design, it appears perfect for characters like Lauma, Ineffa, or other multi reaction supports in 6.3.
A reaction heavy meta is taking shape
These weapon updates confirm that version 6.3 intends to push reaction centric gameplay, especially revolving around Lunar Crystallize. With Verdict strengthening Geo DPS burst windows, and Flame-Forged Insight enabling energy and EM support from off-field, the patch may heavily reward creative team building and rotation optimization.
This could open space for new team comps that blend Geo, Dendro, and off-field reaction characters, rather than the traditional mono Geo or hyper carry style.
As the beta continues, players can expect more tuning to weapons, artifact scaling, and elemental interactions that define the post 6.3 meta.
