With the arrival of Genshin Impact Version 6.3, new beta information clarifies several important gameplay changes and expectations. One of the most notable confirmations is that there will be no Nodkrai Teapot housing realm in version 6.3. Despite Nodkrai becoming increasingly relevant through new characters, lore, and map expansions, the housing system will not receive a Nodkrai themed realm during this update. Players interested in Serenitea Pot content will need to wait for a future version for any Nodkrai related housing additions.
On the gameplay side, Version 6.3 introduces a new Artifact Domain that holds major long term value, especially for reaction focused teams. This domain is currently the only Artifact Domain in the game that drops the Instructor Artifact Set. The Instructor set is included as one of the 4 star artifact rewards, making it significantly easier to farm compared to previous versions where it was limited to bosses, elite enemies, and random drops.
The Instructor Artifact Set remains highly relevant in the current meta due to its Elemental Mastery focused bonuses. Its 2 piece bonus grants +80 Elemental Mastery, while the 4 piece effect provides a party wide +120 Elemental Mastery buff for 8 seconds after triggering an Elemental Reaction. With Lunar reactions becoming more prominent in Version 6.3, having consistent access to Instructor pieces allows support characters to amplify reaction damage more efficiently, especially in early and mid game builds.
Version 6.3 also introduces new combat challenges. A notable enemy added to the update is the Angler of Hidden Depths, featuring a high HP pool of 2,226,02. This enemy is designed to test reaction uptime, positioning, and sustained damage rather than short burst windows, aligning closely with the Lunar reaction focused mechanics introduced in this cycle.
Additionally, the new domain and related content feature a powerful Ley Line Disorder that directly supports Lunar based gameplay. After triggering Lunar reactions, all characters in the party gain +35 percent Lunar reaction DMG and +30 percent DEF. This buff not only increases damage output but also enhances survivability, reinforcing teams that rely on Lunar Crystallize and other Lunar reactions as their core mechanic.
Overall, Genshin Impact 6.3 prioritizes combat systems, artifact accessibility, and reaction based scaling over housing expansions. While the absence of a Nodkrai Teapot may disappoint some players, the introduction of an exclusive Instructor farming domain, new Lunar focused buffs, and durable enemies like the Angler of Hidden Depths signals a clear direction for the evolving meta.
