Recent Genshin Impact 6.7 leaks have revealed major story related details about the upcoming update, including the surprising absence of a new Archon Quest. According to newly surfaced beta information, Version 6.7 will reportedly shift its focus toward a large scale World Quest storyline, new event content and multiple cinematic cutscenes tied to the mysterious Moon Map expansion and Fontaine’s seasonal activities.
The leaked information claims that Genshin Impact 6.7 will not include a new Archon Quest chapter, marking a notable departure from expectations following the increasing buildup toward Snezhnaya and the Fatui storyline. Instead, HoYoverse reportedly plans to expand the game’s lore through a multi act World Quest called Moongaze.
According to beta leaks, the Moongaze World Quest is divided into three separate acts:
Act I: The Forerunner
Act II: Alien Visitor · Stellar Wanderer
Act III: Project Moonwatcher
The names alone have already triggered enormous speculation throughout the community. Many players believe the questline could finally begin exploring the deeper cosmic lore surrounding Teyvat, the moon and possible extraterrestrial connections hinted at throughout previous regions and hidden lore entries.
The title Alien Visitor · Stellar Wanderer in particular has become one of the most discussed parts of the leak. Fans are theorizing that the storyline may involve celestial beings, ancient moon civilizations or previously unknown entities connected to the stars beyond Teyvat.
Meanwhile, Project Moonwatcher appears to reinforce the growing importance of the newly leaked Moon Map area introduced in Version 6.7 beta footage. Community discussions suggest the project could involve secret research programs, advanced Snezhnayan technology or hidden operations tied to Sandrone and the Fatui Harbingers.
The absence of an Archon Quest has created mixed reactions among players. Some fans were hoping for major progression involving the Tsaritsa and Snezhnaya narrative, while others are excited to see HoYoverse experimenting with more focused worldbuilding and side story content before the next main storyline expansion.
