Beginning on August 13, 2026, the event invites Travelers to imagine themselves working across the frozen nation while participating through HoYoverse's official social media platforms. Successful participants are guaranteed 160 Primogems, 3 Hero’s Wit and 20,000 Mora, while 10 randomly selected Travelers can also receive 10 Intertwined Fates.
The event runs from August 13 through August 24, 2026 at 0:00 UTC+8, giving players a limited window to submit their entries. Unlike conventional in-game activities, the Snezhnaya Career Test is designed entirely as a community participation campaign. HoYoverse describes it as an opportunity to dedicate yourself to the “great cause of Snezhnaya” through valuable work, although the company also makes clear that the event is for entertainment purposes only and is not connected to the actual game's setting or storyline.
Participation rules depend on the social media platform being used, so Travelers should carefully check the corresponding official post before submitting an entry. Players must also make sure their account is public and that their post or comment remains publicly visible. This requirement is especially important because HoYoverse needs to verify eligible submissions and contact selected winners after the event. The campaign is available across X, Facebook and Instagram, with slightly different participation requirements on each platform.
For Travelers participating through X, the required hashtag is #SnezhnayaCareerTest, and quoted posts must include that hashtag to receive the relevant automatic notification. On Facebook and Instagram, participants need to include the same #SnezhnayaCareerTest hashtag in their comment to receive a reply. HoYoverse warns that a large number of participants could cause notification and reply delays, meaning players should not assume their entry was missed simply because an immediate response does not appear.
The guaranteed reward package makes this event particularly attractive for players preparing for the expanding Version 7.0 roster. Every Traveler who successfully participates can obtain 160 Primogems, enough to contribute toward future Wishes, alongside 3 Hero’s Wit for character experience and 20,000 Mora for general progression. The redemption code remains valid until September 6, 2026 at 0:00 UTC+8, while the rewards delivered through the in-game mailbox will expire after 30 days. Players should therefore redeem and claim the package without waiting too long.
The biggest prize is reserved for the event's bonus reward, with 10 Intertwined Fates available to randomly selected participants. These rewards are not guaranteed, making them the most valuable part of the campaign for players currently saving for limited 5-star characters. The winners will be selected from submissions across all participating platforms rather than receiving separate prize pools for each region or social network. HoYoverse also confirms that only one prize can be won per Traveler, even if the participant submits multiple entries.
The event allows multiple submissions, but duplicate victories are not permitted.
