Genshin Impact 7.2 Leak Shows Combat Zones and Monumental New Spaces

Leaked event screens show three threat meters and reward goals, while separate images reveal striking interiors. Nothing in the material connects those rooms to the combat activity or establishes a playable route.

Two sets of Genshin Impact Version 7.2 material surfaced on September 24. One contains event-menu screenshots with Northern, Central and Eastern Combat Zones, each showing a threat level that players would apparently lower through operations. The other is a gallery and two short clips of unusual interiors, including a vast geometric hall and a furnished room washed in blue light. These are separate leaks. Neither set identifies the rooms as combat stages or places them on a labeled world map, and HoYoverse has not announced the activity or locations shown.

Three combat zones, each starting at 100% threat

The combat menu currently calls its entry “Event 1,” a placeholder rather than a finished title. A later mention uses the development codename SaveTeyvat. An earlier event list referred to Warfront and three regions, but the visible screens do not establish that every one of those names is interchangeable. What they do show is more useful than a name alone: separate tabs for Northern, Central and Eastern Combat Zones, all pictured at a 100% threat level. The menu tells players to complete operations to lower the meter; tasks on the right remain locked, and one requirement reads “Complete {0} to unlock.” That is placeholder text, not an actionable instruction. The images do not settle how many operations each zone contains, whether they unlock in sequence or whether players can switch between them freely.

Another screen shows the proposed reward goals. Northern and Central entries ask for threat levels to fall to 70% and then 30%, and an Eastern image shows the same thresholds. Each visible threshold sits beside a 50-Primogem icon and other materials. A later row calls for eliminating the threat in all combat zones, with its own reward display. The direction of progress matters: this is presented as a meter to reduce, not a score to build. Still, these are test-screen values, not a complete payout table. Adding up the rows on display would ignore any goals outside the crop and assume the rewards survive unchanged into release.

Other cards hint at photography, exploration and music

The surrounding menu contains more than the three-zone operation. It displays provisional entries called Fierce Shadow Freeze Frame Chronicles, Pressure Block Crush Plan and Where Kristall Roots Run Deep, plus an unnamed music activity. The photography-themed card points to a quest. The pressure-themed card describes a game involving two bathhouse employees, without explaining a complete rule set. These labels could change, especially since the main combat event itself still carries a placeholder name. The screenshots are a look at a working interface, not a calendar of finished activities.

The exploration card does show a specific gate: it tells the player to complete “Gunfire in the Silent Lands” in the Archon Quest before exploring. A limited-time area exploration reward has a 400 beside an icon, but the crop does not justify naming the currency or promising that amount for release. The music card shows a “Dulcem” rating goal with a 60-Primogem icon. Several cards display an unusually long “279 day(s) 12 hour(s)” timer; it cannot be read as a reliable public start or end date. Nor do these panels explain whether the separately rumored free four-star selector belongs to the event or how it could be claimed.

A gray hall and a furnished blue room

The other September 24 material offers a different kind of preview. Its most imposing still shows a huge angular chamber with dark rectangular blocks suspended above a reflective floor. Narrow shafts of light descend near the walls, and a stepped structure rises through pale haze at the far end. A tiny figure or object in the center conveys scale without giving away an identity. This is an interior view, not a map tile with a printed name. It differs visibly from the snowy streets and industrial TPS scenes shown in earlier leaks, but those differences do not place it in a known region.

A second still moves into a room framed by repeating arches and hanging lamps. Tables and chairs make it feel furnished and inhabited; several figures in red coats stand inside. The lighting is blue overall, despite the warmer-looking details closer to the floor. No legible label identifies a faction or location. Calling it a particular headquarters, tavern or quest hub would go beyond the picture. The gallery expands the visual range of the possible update without providing an entry condition, quest context or evidence that the room connects to one of the three combat zones.

The clips show movement, not a confirmed route

One short clip follows a character across a greenish floor inside a broad dark enclosure. Vertical strands of light sit in the distance, warm glows mark part of the ground, and a bright star-like effect becomes more prominent as the camera tilts upward. A moving viewpoint is useful evidence that the location is represented in footage, but it does not identify the light as a navigation cue, puzzle target, teleport point or purely visual effect. There is no readable map marker tying this space to Novokitezhgrad, the earlier TPS images or the event's Northern, Central and Eastern tabs.

The other clip carries a stronger story-spoiler warning. It begins with a large illuminated form against a bright backdrop, then passes to a dark walkway flanked by many warm, floating points of light. The character approaches a doorway and later appears near a broad arch. Those shots are distinct from both the gray hall and the furnished blue room. With no readable quest title or dialogue, the form cannot be assigned a named identity and the sequence cannot establish a plot outcome. Anyone avoiding story imagery may prefer to skip the clip rather than treat it as a neutral map tour.

The event screens and interior footage answer different questions: one illustrates proposed threat-and-reward progression, while the other reveals the look of several spaces. The phrase “areas we will visit” in the gallery is a claim attached to the leak, not proof that every view is freely explorable. Some may be quest-only scenes or test-build locations. For now there is no verified route, event schedule or final reward total linking these discoveries. A labeled beta interface or an official preview would be needed to establish their identities and whether any of the rooms belong to the combat activity.
