Genshin Impact 6.7 Leaks Reveal Sandrone Animation Cancels, Early Burst Swaps and Major Yae Miko Buff

New Genshin Impact 6.7 showcase leaks have revealed surprising combat interactions involving Sandrone’s skill and burst mechanics alongside a major quality of life improvement for Yae Miko. The leaked gameplay footage is already generating strong reactions across the community due to its potential impact on rotations and team flexibility.

A new wave of Genshin Impact 6.7 leaks has revealed several important combat mechanics involving the upcoming character Sandrone alongside an unexpected change to Yae Miko’s Elemental Burst behavior. The leaked showcase footage highlights advanced animation interactions, early cancel opportunities and potential rotation optimizations that could significantly affect gameplay strategies after release.

  • According to the leaked demonstrations, Sandrone’s Elemental Skill appears capable of being swap cancelled while still successfully dealing damage. This means players may be able to activate the skill and immediately switch characters without fully waiting for the animation to finish. Despite the interruption, the damage effect reportedly continues to trigger correctly.

  • The leak also suggests that Sandrone’s skill can be interrupted directly through her own Elemental Burst activation. In the showcased footage, the character appears to transition from skill into burst before the original animation fully completes while maintaining damage output from both actions. This interaction could allow for much smoother combat rotations and faster setup windows.

Many theorycrafters immediately began discussing the implications of this mechanic for high-speed teams and quickswap compositions. Characters capable of bypassing lengthy animation locks often become highly valuable in optimized gameplay environments due to increased rotation efficiency and reduced field time requirements.

Another important leak claims that Sandrone’s Burst itself can also be swap cancelled fairly early. Although leakers noted that the current burst animation appears visually broken in the beta version, the mechanical functionality reportedly works correctly. If preserved in the final release build, this feature may allow players to trigger Sandrone’s burst effects and instantly rotate into supporting or damage-dealing teammates.

The possibility of multiple cancel windows has already sparked comparisons to other flexible rotation characters in Genshin Impact. Some players believe Sandrone may become one of the most fluid and technically advanced units released in recent versions depending on her final cooldowns, damage scaling and energy requirements.

  • Beyond Sandrone’s mechanics, another major leak has captured attention across the community. According to the leaked showcase, Yae Miko’s Elemental Burst no longer destroys her Sesshou Sakura totems after activation.

This rumored adjustment would represent one of the largest Quality of Life improvements for Yae Miko since her original release. Previously, activating her burst consumed all active totems before requiring players to manually redeploy them afterward. The mechanic often disrupted rotations and increased field time requirements.

Under the leaked Version 6.7 changes, Yae Miko may reportedly keep her totems active even after using her burst. This would dramatically improve gameplay flow, Electro application consistency and overall damage uptime in many team compositions.

Community reactions to the Yae Miko leak have been overwhelmingly positive so far. Many longtime players described the change as a “finally” moment after years of requests for smoother gameplay interactions. Others noted that preserving the totems could substantially improve her synergy with modern quickswap and reaction-focused teams.

The leaked showcases remain part of the ongoing beta testing cycle, meaning all information is currently unofficial and subject to change before release. Animation behavior, damage interactions and gameplay mechanics frequently receive adjustments during beta development phases. HoYoverse has not officially confirmed any of these combat changes at the time of writing.

As additional gameplay footage continues to surface, Version 6.7 is increasingly shaping up to be one of the most mechanically interesting updates in recent memory. Players are now waiting for deeper theorycraft analysis and further leaks to determine how impactful Sandrone and the rumored Yae Miko adjustments may become within the evolving meta.
