Genshin Impact 6.7 Leaks Reveal New Moon Map Mechanics, Paimon Barrier Limits and Multi Layer Exploration System

New Genshin Impact 6.7 leaks have revealed additional details about the upcoming moon themed map expansion, including dangerous exploration mechanics tied to Archaeolune Energy, a layered map system with multiple vertical levels and new quest related area showcases from the beta.

A new collection of Genshin Impact 6.7 leaks is giving players a deeper look into the mysterious upcoming moon area expected to arrive in the future update cycle. Recent beta information and showcase footage reveal new exploration mechanics, layered map structures and environmental hazards that may completely change how players interact with the new region.

One of the most discussed discoveries involves the rumored Paimon barrier boundaries inside the new map. According to leakers, the moon area appears to use special invisible limits and environmental restrictions designed to control player progression across the massive zone. Community discussions suggest these barriers may function differently from traditional map borders due to the unusual structure and verticality of the new environment.

  • Another major leak focuses on the region’s dangerous environmental mechanic known as Exhaustion and Incapacitation. Based on the leaked tutorial images from the beta client, most areas within the moon region are reportedly filled with unstable Archaeolune Energy, a mysterious force that gradually builds an exhaustion meter while players explore.
According to the leaked descriptions, once the exhaustion level reaches its limit, the player character will collapse and become incapacitated. This system appears to function similarly to environmental survival mechanics previously seen in other regions, but with a far more atmospheric and hostile presentation.

  • The leaked tutorials describe multiple variations of the mechanic. One of them is called Lunar Sea Incapacitation, where the moon’s ocean areas contain highly dense liquid Archaeolune Energy. Beta descriptions suggest this phenomenon may have formed after the destruction of part of the moon itself. While exploring these zones, exhaustion rapidly accumulates until the player eventually collapses.

  • Another tutorial leak references Archaeolune Storm Incapacitation, a dangerous weather system caused by turbulent Archaeolune Energy floating through the atmosphere. During these storms, players continuously accumulate exhaustion while navigating the environment.

Because of these mechanics, many players now believe HoYoverse may be testing early versions of future Snezhnaya survival weather systems through the Version 6.7 moon area. The exhaustion mechanic shares similarities with environmental pressure systems seen in Dragonspine and Fontaine while introducing a more advanced layered hazard structure.

  • One of the biggest revelations from the leaks is the presence of a Layered Map System. According to beta render information, the new moon region may contain up to six different vertical levels, creating one of the most vertically complex areas ever introduced in Genshin Impact.

Community speculation suggests these layers could include underground ruins, floating structures, deep lunar oceans, internal moon caverns and elevated celestial zones connected through quest progression and exploration mechanics.

Leakers have also revealed several showcases of unreleased areas connected to an upcoming questline. According to players who viewed the leaked footage, the environments feature highly surreal visuals with glowing blue landscapes, celestial lighting effects and massive structures suspended across the moon themed terrain.

The atmosphere shown in the leaked videos reportedly matches the previously leaked Moon Battle Theme soundtrack, reinforcing speculation that HoYoverse is preparing one of the most visually unique regions ever added to the game.

As with all beta information, players should remember that every detail surrounding the Genshin Impact 6.7 moon map leaks remains unofficial and subject to change before release. Exploration mechanics, environmental systems, map layouts and quest areas may still be adjusted significantly during ongoing development.
