• Favonius Sword: This weapon is excellent for team utility and meeting energy requirements. It helps generate particles for the whole team, though it requires some Crit Rate investment to reliably proc the passive effect.
• Sacrificial Sword: This utility option allows for better shield uptime and additional particle generation. It is particularly useful if your rotation requires more frequent skill usage to maintain protection or battery other Cryo units.

Best Artifacts

• Tenacity of the Millelith: This is the best artifact set for a support role. It provides a 20 percent HP bonus and grants a consistent attack buff to teammates when Layla's elemental skill hits opponents.
• Vourukasha's Glow: Using the 2 piece set is a great way to gain an extra 20 percent HP bonus. This is often paired with other HP sets to maximize the total shield absorption for high damage encounters.
• Blizzard Strayer: This set is used for niche damage builds in Freeze team comps. It allows her to contribute more personal Cryo damage by providing a significant boost to Crit Rate against frozen enemies.

Teams and Stat Priorities

• For stat priorities, focus on Triple HP for the Sands, Goblet, and Circlet while aiming for 110 percent to 120 percent Energy Recharge. Include Crit Rate if using Favonius Sword.
• The Morgana team features Ganyu, Mona, and Kazuha for a powerful Freeze archetype. Layla provides the necessary shield and Cryo resonance to keep Ganyu safe while the enemies are permanently frozen.
• The Ganyu Melt team utilizes Xiangling and Bennett to enable powerful elemental reactions. Layla serves as the shielder in this niche, preventing Ganyu from being interrupted during her charged shots while applying occasional Cryo.
