HoYoverse has officially launched a new limited-time web event titled “Mage Nicole’s Tea Party”, expanding the ongoing promotional campaign for Genshin Impact Version “Luna VII: Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana.” The event is now available globally and invites Travelers to participate in a lighthearted interactive experience centered around the popular Pyro character Nicole.
The event will run from May 20, 2026 to June 2, 2026 at 23:59:59 (UTC+8), giving players a limited window to complete quests and claim rewards. HoYoverse has reminded participants that rewards cannot be claimed after the event ends, emphasizing the importance of early participation.
Eligibility for the event is open to all players who have reached Adventure Rank 1 or higher, making it accessible to both new and veteran Travelers. This low entry requirement reflects HoYoverse’s continued strategy of encouraging broad community engagement ahead of major version updates.
During “Mage Nicole’s Tea Party,” players can complete a series of web event quests to earn rewards including Primogems and Sugar Cubes, a special event currency used within the tea party system. The structure of the event focuses on simple interactive progression rather than combat or exploration, making it a more casual experience compared to in-game challenges.
Players can earn up to 20 Primogems and 10 Sugar Cubes through page quests alone. Additional rewards are available through Invitation and Linking Quests, which provide up to 21 extra Sugar Cubes. These Sugar Cubes can then be used to participate in a prize draw system, offering additional randomized rewards for engaged participants.
HoYoverse also included several important technical notes regarding the event. Some players may experience delays in quest progress tracking due to data synchronization. In such cases, refreshing the page or waiting briefly is recommended to ensure correct updates. The company also reiterated that all in-game rewards will be delivered via in-game mail, which must be claimed within 30 days before expiration.
One of the key aspects of this web event is its focus on Nicole, who continues to play a central role in the Luna VII marketing cycle. As one of the most prominent new characters introduced in this version, Nicole’s presence across multiple events, trailers and promotional materials has significantly increased community interest in her storyline and personality.
While the event centers around a playful “tea party” theme, HoYoverse clarified that the content is purely for entertainment purposes and does not directly reflect in-game lore or canon events. Despite this, many players are already analyzing the thematic connection between Nicole’s storytelling identity and the whimsical structure of the event itself.
Community reaction has been highly positive, especially due to the combination of free Primogems, interactive gameplay and character-focused storytelling. Web events like this have historically been popular among Genshin Impact players for offering easy rewards while expanding character visibility outside of traditional gameplay content.
As Version Luna VII approaches its full release, HoYoverse continues to build momentum through a combination of banners, trailers, community events and web activities. With Nicole at the center of multiple promotional campaigns, “Mage Nicole’s Tea Party” further reinforces her role as one of the defining characters of the upcoming update cycle.
With its simple structure, accessible requirements and rewarding system, the event is expected to attract strong participation throughout its duration, making it one of the most engaging pre-launch activities tied to Genshin Impact Version Luna VII.
