Genshin Impact 7.2 Leak Shows Mitya and Valeriy Materials and Mitya's Skill Modes

A fresh Genshin Impact Version 7.2 leak has published alleged full character material sheets for Mitya and Valeriy. The same wave of reporting adds new details to Mitya's combat flow: using his Elemental Skill may determine whether he enters his on-field or off-field mode, while short and long inputs reportedly affect his rotation length.

The material graphics appeared through the Seele Leaks Telegram feed at 9:32 a.m. UTC on September 22, with credit to X1. AboutSnezhnaya then posted the Mitya Skill claim at 9:53 a.m. UTC and attributed it to Array. These are two distinct reporting chains covering different parts of the characters, not independent confirmation of the same claim.

Neither character's Version 7.2 gameplay data nor the new material items have been announced by HoYoverse. The images appear to come from an unreleased test build, and their item names are not readable in the reposted graphics. Players should therefore treat the counts as a planning reference rather than a finished pre-farming checklist.

The leaked sheets show complete level and talent totals

Both graphics use the familiar format for taking a character to Level 90 and raising all three combat talents. Each one lists approximately 7.1 million Mora and 419 Hero's Wit, followed by the usual character ascension, weekly boss and talent resources.

The shared totals shown on the two sheets include three Crowns of Insight, 168 units of a local specialty, 46 drops from a world boss and 18 weekly boss materials. The elemental gemstone row follows the standard 1, 9, 9 and 6 split across the four Vajrada Amethyst tiers. A talent-book row shows 9, 63 and 114 items, while the common enemy material row shows 36, 96 and 129 across its three rarities.

Those quantities match the normal all-in requirements used by released characters, but that does not validate the identities of the pictured materials. Several icons appear to belong to unreleased Version 7.2 content. Their names, descriptions and exact farming locations are not supplied in the repost, so attaching current item names to them would be guesswork.

The safest takeaway is that Mitya and Valeriy are alleged to use the same broad quantities while requiring their own new specialty and boss-related items. Even where an icon looks recognizable, test-build art and internal labels can change before release.

Mitya's sheet points to a five-star Electro Catalyst build

Mitya's graphic presents him as a five-star Electro Catalyst character. That identity is consistent with earlier Version 7.2 reporting already circulating around the character, but the new image is useful because it places his alleged rarity, element, weapon and material package together.

The sheet appears to show a CRIT DMG ascension value of 88.4% at the top. That figure is consistent with the total displayed by a five-star character who gains CRIT DMG while ascending, although the image does not provide a readable stat label. It should be treated as an interpretation of the icon and number, not a separately confirmed final stat.

For farming purposes, the most important new information is the appearance of the unreleased local specialty, world boss drop and weekly boss material. Players cannot build a reliable route from the picture alone. The graphic does not name a subregion, identify a boss arena or establish whether any of the new materials will be available before Version 7.2 goes live.

That limitation matters because the same update is already rumored to add another Snezhnaya map expansion. A new specialty shown beside Mitya does not prove that every copy will be located in the new area, and the image gives no respawn count or shop source.

Valeriy's graphic shows a four-star Electro Sword character

Valeriy's sheet presents her as a four-star Electro Sword character. The top of the graphic also appears to display a 24.0% ascension stat, but the compressed icon is not clear enough to identify that stat with confidence. The material totals underneath follow the same complete-build format as Mitya's sheet.

The two characters appear to share Vajrada Amethyst because both are depicted as Electro. Their other pictured resources are not identical. The portraits beside the boss-related rows and the specialty icons differ, indicating separate farming demands even if both characters arrive during the same version.

This distinction is useful for players who might plan to build both. The combined requirement would be 838 Hero's Wit and roughly 14.2 million Mora before accounting for weapons, artifacts or any temporary reductions. It would also require two sets of 168 specialties and two sets of 46 world boss drops if the leaked sheets remain accurate.

Those combined numbers are arithmetic based on the two graphics, not a recommendation to spend resources now. Version 7.2 is still unreleased, and the characters' banner timing, final kits and material assignments can change during testing.

Mitya's Skill may set his combat mode

The separate AboutSnezhnaya post adds more specific control details to earlier descriptions of Mitya's split playstyle. According to the post, his on-field or off-field mode is determined when he uses his Elemental Skill rather than by simply switching him out and automatically entering the off-field state.

Earlier leaks had already described Mitya as a character with separate active and off-field functions tied to Prism management. The new post also says that short and long Skill inputs affect the length of his rotation and the overall damage sequence. It does not explicitly map one input to the on-field mode and the other to the off-field mode, so that connection should not be presented as confirmed.

The same report warns that Mitya may not be able to end his off-field mode quickly. If accurate, that restriction could matter more than the press-versus-hold choice. An off-field state that cannot be cancelled on demand may lock part of a rotation, delay another Skill use or make an early switch less forgiving.

The post does not explain the duration, cooldown, Prism cost, cancellation rule or exact short-versus-long input behavior. Any rotation advice would therefore be premature. What is new is the claimed Skill-based control point, the separate rotation difference between short and long inputs, and the possibility that entering the off-field state has a meaningful commitment attached to it.

What players can safely prepare now

Mora, Hero's Wit and Vajrada Amethyst are the only clearly identifiable resources in the graphics that can be discussed without assigning names to unreleased icons. Crowns of Insight are also visible, although using three assumes a player intends to raise every talent to Level 10.

Everything else should wait for clearer test-build data or an official preview. The local specialties and boss drops may be inaccessible until the update, and talent books can be reassigned during development. The images also do not confirm whether Mitya and Valeriy will release in the same banner phase.

For now, the leak provides a complete-looking quantity template, not a final route. Mitya's alleged Skill-controlled mode choice and short-versus-long rotation difference are separate details worth watching, while the material sheets give players their first compact view of what both character builds could demand.
