A fresh batch of Genshin Impact 7.x leaks is hinting at one of the biggest balance initiatives the game has seen in years. According to recent reports, character buffs will become more frequent throughout the Snezhnaya update cycle, with Version 7.1 expected to introduce the next major wave of gameplay adjustments.
The latest information claims that the upcoming 7.1 update will focus heavily on Liyue characters, continuing HoYoverse's efforts to revisit older units and improve their performance in the current meta. While the complete list has not yet been revealed, leakers suggest that roughly half of the characters scheduled to receive buffs are from Liyue, spanning both 5 Star and 4 Star rarities.
Another notable detail from the leak is that the majority of the planned buffs are targeting Anemo and Cryo characters. This has led to widespread speculation that HoYoverse intends to strengthen elements that have struggled to maintain a consistent presence in recent team compositions as new regions and mechanics have been introduced.
