A new collection of Genshin Impact Version 7.0 leaks has surfaced, revealing several smaller but interesting discoveries from the ongoing beta. Although none of these findings dramatically change the game's overall roadmap, they provide valuable insight into future gameplay systems, quest content and character interactions planned for the Snezhnaya update cycle.
One of the biggest revelations concerns Valeriy, a character who, according to previous leaks, will not be playable during Version 7.0. Despite that, the beta files contain information describing a unique combat mechanic tied to him.
Valeriy Can Be Summoned as an Assist Character
According to the leaked data, Valeriy functions through a special Assist mechanic rather than appearing as a fully playable character.
Players will reportedly be able to summon Valeriy by pressing his avatar, a system said to work similarly to the temporary assist mechanic previously seen with Dainsleif during story content.
Once activated, Valeriy will immediately rush toward the nearest enemy, perform an Electro attack, generate a shield for himself and then disappear until players summon him again.
At the moment, there is no indication that this mechanic will remain available outside of its intended quest or gameplay segment. Instead, the leaked files suggest it is a scripted feature designed for specific scenarios during Version 7.0 rather than a permanent companion system.
