New Genshin Impact 6.7 leaks continue to reveal additional details about the upcoming Stellar System, and this time the spotlight has shifted toward Diona. According to recently surfaced beta information, the beloved Cryo support may receive substantial upgrades designed to enhance reaction-focused gameplay, particularly for teams built around the rumored Stella Superconduct mechanic.
The leaked changes appear to modernize older characters by granting them specialized bonuses while inside the new Stellar Glow Domain, a combat system heavily tied to reaction damage amplification and elemental synergy.
According to the beta leak, Diona’s passive talent is receiving an entirely new coordinated attack mechanic. After using her Elemental Skill, nearby party members who trigger Superconduct, Stella Superconduct or Cryo Swirl reactions will cause Diona to fire three additional Icy Cat Claws in coordination.
The leak further states that these coordinated Cat Claws cannot generate Elemental Particles and will not create shields when striking enemies. However, the effect can reportedly activate once every 3.5 seconds, allowing Diona to contribute significantly more off-field Cryo application during reaction-heavy combat rotations.
Many players believe this change alone could dramatically improve Diona’s overall utility in modern team compositions. Historically, Diona has primarily functioned as a defensive support focused on shields, healing and Cryo battery generation. The leaked Stellar System upgrades may finally push her into a stronger offensive support role as well.
The beta information also claims that Diona automatically enters the Radiance•Stella Superconduct state while inside the Stellar Glow Domain. This enhanced state appears to directly improve her synergy with the upcoming reaction system introduced in Version 6.7.
One of the biggest leaks involves Diona’s Constellation 6, which already provides powerful team utility in the live version of the game. Under the leaked Stellar System adjustments, characters standing inside Diona’s Signature Special Mix Field continue receiving conditional bonuses depending on their HP levels.
According to the leak:
Characters at 50% HP or lower gain 30% Incoming Healing Bonus
Characters above 50% HP gain 200 Elemental Mastery
Diona additionally receives a permanent 25% Max HP increase
However, the new Radiance•Stella Superconduct effect may become the most impactful change overall. While inside the Signature Special Mix Field, characters reportedly deal 40% increased damage from Superconduct, Stella Superconduct and Cryo Swirl reactions.
This massive reaction multiplier has immediately attracted attention from theorycrafters and veteran players. Many now believe Diona could become one of the core support units for future Cryo and Electro reaction teams if these buffs remain unchanged throughout the beta cycle.
The inclusion of both Elemental Mastery bonuses and direct reaction damage amplification strongly suggests HoYoverse intends for the Stellar System to redefine older support characters through specialized reaction synergy instead of raw stat increases alone.
Community reactions to the leak have been overwhelmingly positive so far. Many long-time Diona players feel the character has remained viable but overshadowed by newer supports introduced in recent updates. The Stellar System buffs could potentially restore her relevance in high-end Spiral Abyss content and future endgame modes centered around reaction mechanics.
Some players are also speculating that the Stellar Glow Domain may function similarly to an alternate enhancement system where selected legacy characters receive temporary upgraded states depending on the active combat environment.
Despite the excitement surrounding the leaks, players should remember that all current information originates from beta files and unofficial datamined content. HoYoverse has not officially confirmed Diona’s Stellar System upgrades, the Stellar Glow Domain or the final implementation of Stella Superconduct mechanics. Effects, scaling values and activation conditions may still change before the official launch of Genshin Impact Version 6.7.
Still, the latest leaks continue to build anticipation for what may become one of the largest gameplay shakeups for older characters in recent Genshin Impact history.
