A new wave of Genshin Impact 6.7 leaks is generating major discussion after beta information revealed that several older characters may receive direct enhancements through the upcoming Stellar System. Among the first leaked characters affected by these changes is Beidou, who appears set to gain significant improvements to her Energy generation, cooldown management and reaction support capabilities.
According to the leaked beta data, Version 6.7 could introduce a new combat environment called the Stellar Glow Domain, which grants additional effects to selected characters connected to the rumored Stella Superconduct reaction system. This mechanic appears designed to modernize older units and improve their synergy with upcoming elemental reactions and future team compositions.
The leaked changes specifically target Beidou’s passive abilities and Constellation 6, potentially transforming her into a much stronger Electro support and reaction enabler.
One of the largest changes affects Beidou’s passive talent, Lightning Storm. Under the leaked adjustments, while holding her Elemental Skill Tidecaller, Beidou will reportedly continue accumulating stacks of power every 0.8 seconds even without taking enemy hits. This directly improves one of the biggest inconveniences in her existing gameplay by allowing players to maximize counter damage more consistently during combat.
In addition, the leak claims each accumulated stack during Tidecaller grants extra utility effects. Every stack reportedly reduces the cooldown of her Elemental Skill by 4 seconds while simultaneously restoring 8 Energy to Beidou herself. However, this effect can only trigger once every 15 seconds for balance purposes.
These changes alone could dramatically improve Beidou’s rotation flexibility, especially in teams where maintaining burst uptime is essential. Many theorycrafters believe this would significantly reduce her historical Energy Recharge issues while making her counter-focused playstyle more accessible to casual players.
The leak becomes even more interesting when referencing the new Radiance•Stella Superconduct state. According to current beta information, Beidou automatically enters this enhanced state while inside the Stellar Glow Domain.
Her Constellation 6, Bane of Evil, is also reportedly receiving additional Stellar System effects. Currently, Stormbreaker decreases nearby enemies’ Electro Resistance by 15%. Under the leaked Stellar upgrade, enemies near Beidou during Stormbreaker would additionally suffer a 15% Cryo Resistance reduction, while the active character gains 200 Elemental Mastery.
This combination could have enormous implications for future team building. The added Cryo Resistance shred strongly suggests HoYoverse intends to push hybrid Electro and Cryo reaction teams centered around the rumored Stella Superconduct mechanic. Meanwhile, the large Elemental Mastery boost could dramatically increase overall reaction damage output for both Beidou and her teammates.
The leaks have already sparked excitement among long-time Beidou mains, many of whom believe the character has gradually fallen behind newer units in recent patches. If these buffs remain unchanged, Version 6.7 could potentially return Beidou to high-tier meta relevance, particularly in reaction-heavy compositions.
Community reactions have also focused on the broader implications of the Stellar System itself. Many players believe this could become HoYoverse’s long-term solution for updating older characters without requiring full reworks or direct kit redesigns. Instead of altering base abilities permanently, the Stellar System may function as a specialized enhancement framework tied to specific domains, reactions or future combat modes.
Despite the growing excitement, players should remember that all current information remains based on beta leaks and unofficial datamined content. HoYoverse has not officially confirmed the Stellar Glow Domain, Stella Superconduct mechanics or Beidou’s leaked buffs. Values, effects and mechanics may still change before the official launch of Genshin Impact Version 6.7.
Still, the possibility of older characters receiving meaningful upgrades through the Stellar System has quickly become one of the most discussed aspects of the ongoing 6.7 beta cycle.
