A Genshin Impact Version 7.2 leak now lists two primary area names and 13 smaller locations across a proposed Snezhnaya map expansion. Novokitezhgrad and Wingspan Peak head the list, while the entries beneath them range from a railway station and mining facilities to Port Belovodye and Old Kitezhgrad. The list surfaced on September 23 and remains unconfirmed.
This is more specific than the earlier map leak that named Novokitezhgrad and described a wing-like mountain without locating either on the image. The latest text organizes the names into two tiers. It does not, however, provide coordinates, labeled boundaries or a route linking the places. The English renderings may also change before any official release.
What the new area list actually names
The two first-tier entries are Novokitezhgrad and Wingspan Peak. The latter is a more place-name-like English rendering of the wing-shaped mountain mentioned previously, not a new claim that a second mountain has appeared.
Thirteen second-tier entries follow: Byaroza Station, The Central Hub, Royal Railway Transport Bureau, Downtown Novokitezhgrad, Kristall Refinery, Kresnik Kristall Mines, Crystal-Tree Grotto, Port Belovodye, Teplo Oasis, Hallowed Plain, Star-Piercing Canyon, Old Kitezhgrad and Hollow of the Ancient Scaled One. The text also contains an unnamed placeholder and two entries expressly marked as test material. Those should not be treated as finalized playable areas or polished English names.
The classification gives readers a useful way to parse the leak without pretending that every entry is an independent region. A station, downtown district and refinery are named as second-tier places; the post does not say which first-tier area each belongs to. Their proximity in a list does not establish a travel route or even their precise geographic positions.
Mining and transport add context, not a route map
Earlier leaked location descriptions characterize Novokitezhgrad as a mining city with Kresnik Kristall extraction and refining nearby. Another passage describes Port Belovodye as a warm-water port where travelers and merchants cross between Snezhnaya and Mondstadt, with part of the port under Fatui control. The new list gives those descriptions more specific map-name counterparts, including the mines, refinery and port. It does not independently verify the earlier narrative or place these sites on the same road.
A separate leaked layered-map sheet shows several top-down landform and settlement-like panels against a blank background. It offers a different visual angle from the broad frozen overview previously reported, but no readable names on the image link its individual panels to the station, port or grotto. The list and sheet should therefore be read together as clues to a proposed expansion, not as a completed labeled map.
For players following exploration updates, the practical development is the distinction between major areas and smaller named points of interest. The list suggests more than a single city label, yet it cannot establish how much territory will be explorable, whether any location is underground, or which sites are tied to quests. HoYoverse has not confirmed the Version 7.2 places. Names, layouts and availability may change during testing, and the two test-marked entries are particularly uncertain.
