A major new Genshin Impact 6.7 leak has revealed extensive upgrades for Cyno through the upcoming Stellar System, and the leaked changes could completely redefine his role in the future reaction meta.
According to the latest beta information, the new Stellar Glow Domain grants older characters special enhanced states connected to the rumored Stella Superconduct combat system. Cyno appears to receive some of the most aggressive reaction-focused buffs seen so far, dramatically improving his Elemental Mastery scaling, combo mechanics and team support potential.
The leaked changes first enhance Cyno’s existing Ascension Passive tied to the Judication mechanic during his Elemental Burst state, Pactsworn Pathclearer.
Currently, when Cyno uses Secret Rite: Chasmic Soulfarer during the Endseer Stance state, he triggers Judication effects that fire Duststalker Bolts. Under the leaked Stellar System changes, activating Judication while inside the Radiance•Stella Superconduct state instead fires 3 Duststalker Bolts•Stellar Companion.
These new projectiles reportedly deal Electro damage equal to 80% of Cyno’s ATK, but more importantly, the damage is fully treated as Stella Superconduct reaction damage.
The second Ascension Passive buff may be even more significant.
According to the beta leak, Cyno’s attacks gain additional scaling based directly on his Elemental Mastery:
Normal Attacks during Pactsworn Pathclearer gain bonus damage equal to 150% of Elemental Mastery
Standard Duststalker Bolts gain bonus damage equal to 250% of Elemental Mastery
Duststalker Bolts•Stellar Companion gain massive bonus damage equal to 600% of Elemental Mastery
These numbers have immediately attracted attention from theorycrafters because Cyno already heavily benefits from Elemental Mastery builds. The Stellar System appears designed to massively amplify that scaling even further.
Another important leaked change involves a completely new Additional Passive.
Even while not inside the Pactsworn Pathclearer state, using Secret Rite: Chasmic Soulfarer reportedly allows Cyno to briefly enter the enhanced state for 6 seconds. This could dramatically improve his flexibility in shorter combat rotations and quickswap teams.
The leak also confirms that Cyno automatically enters the Radiance•Stella Superconduct state while inside the Stellar Glow Domain.
The constellation buffs revealed in the beta are equally massive.
Under the leaked Constellation 1 changes, entering Pactsworn Pathclearer now grants Cyno a new effect called Rising Sun Together:
Elemental Mastery increases by 200
If Cyno swaps out, the next active character inherits the effect and remaining duration
This mechanic has generated enormous discussion because it suggests Cyno may now function as both a hypercarry and a reaction support simultaneously.
His leaked Constellation 2 upgrades further strengthen reaction scaling. In addition to increasing Electro Damage Bonus through Normal Attacks, characters affected by Rising Sun Together reportedly gain stacking buffs that increase Stella Superconduct reaction damage by 10% per stack, up to five stacks total.
If fully stacked, this could provide an enormous 50% Stella Superconduct damage increase.
The leaked Constellation 4 improvements significantly expand Cyno’s Energy utility.
While inside Pactsworn Pathclearer, triggering reactions such as:
Electro-Charged
Lunar Electro-Charged
Superconduct
Stella Superconduct
Overloaded
Quicken
Aggravate
Hyperbloom
Electro Swirl
causes nearby party members to regenerate 3 Elemental Energy.
Meanwhile, when teammates affected by Rising Sun Together trigger those same reactions, Cyno himself reportedly regenerates 20 Elemental Energy once every 18 seconds.
This could solve one of Cyno’s most frequently criticized weaknesses, his high Energy requirements during long rotations.
However, the biggest leak involves Constellation 6.
After using Sacred Rite: Wolf’s Swiftness or triggering Judication, Cyno gains 4 stacks of Jackalfeast. When his Normal Attacks hit enemies, one stack is consumed to fire a Duststalker Bolt.
If Cyno is affected by Rising Sun Together, the attack becomes a Duststalker Bolt•Stellar Companion instead.
These Stellar Companion attacks can reportedly trigger once every 0.4 seconds, potentially creating an extremely fast chain of reaction-based damage instances during burst windows.
Community reactions to the Cyno leaks have been extremely positive so far. Many players believe the Stellar System could finally push Cyno into top-tier Electro carry status by addressing several of his long-standing issues including Energy consistency, team utility and reaction scaling.
The leaks also continue reinforcing the growing theory that HoYoverse is using the Stellar System to modernize older characters through specialized reaction enhancements rather than complete direct reworks.
If the current beta values remain unchanged, Cyno may become one of the strongest beneficiaries of the entire Version 6.7 update cycle.
Despite the excitement, players should remember that all current information originates from unofficial beta leaks and datamined content. HoYoverse has not officially confirmed Cyno’s Stellar System buffs, Stella Superconduct mechanics or the final implementation of the Stellar Glow Domain. Damage values, Energy scaling and reaction interactions may still change before the official release of Genshin Impact Version 6.7.
